  1. Me too. I'd like to say I remember..., 😉🤣. Recovery time now is a lot longer than before and not worth it. I've learned after many attempts I now can enjoy drinking without getting blind drunk and binge drinking. 🍻
  2. I shopped at Walmart this morning. Be careful when pointing fingers at others!!
  3. I agree. But they don't have the stones to do it and we know why. So that's why the evening dress code for the MDR is suggested and not enforced.
  4. And when they ignore you do you then boycott the MDR. 😂
  5. I ignore the uppity crowds who feel a day suit is best reserved for "formal" nights. Slacks & button down shirt(or nice polo) are fine the rest of the time. Shorts/t shirts baseball hats are fine at breakfast/lunch, NOT at dinner. The only opinion that counts on any of the suggested dress guidelines for the MDR is the staff/MD. No one else. But you are consistent with your agenda. What a way to spend the evening enjoying a meal, drinks and conversation. How someone else is dressed hasn't ever ruined our evening in the MDR.
  6. Agree. I read the threads that catch my attention. I like reading and respect others opinions and experiences, negative or positive. None that influences my cruise decisions. Threads like this one are a great example of it. If I agree or disagree I'll voice my opinion. Don't care who agrees or disagrees with me. That's their opinion. I've been a CC member since February 2001 and have found there are a few CC posters that post some good value added info. Threads like this will run their course, fade away only to make room for another, just like the other.
  7. Bloody Marys, red beers, mimosas. Type of liquor or the time of day. Enjoy.
  8. First night for me shorts and a polo/golf style shirt. After that night I wear dockers and a polo/golf style shirt. My wife, slacks and a fancy girly top. We no longer take formal wear.
  9. Enjoy your first cruise. We like the Jewel. First night for me shorts and a polo/golf style shirt. After that night I wear dockers and a golf/polo style shirt. My wife, slacks and a fancy girly top. We no longer take formal wear.
  10. Thanks. We'll be leaving out of San Pedro (LAH) on 8 October on Celebrity's Eclipse. Do you take request for good weather. 😁
  11. Hopefully you voiced your opinion(s) on your PCS. Also shoot an Email to, executiveoffice@celebrity.com
  12. That's why I said, I have very little faith in Celebrity's app. We'll wait until we are actually sitting in the MDR on the Eclipse with menu in hand enjoying a glass of wine and looking at our selections.
  13. Anyone have a picture of this DNR screen feature? Haven't been on a Princess cruise since 2010 (Grand) and we had door hangers at that time. We have the Enchanted booked for March 2024.

    Muster

The muster drill can't be done until your sail date.
  15. Are you planning on doing self disembarkation?
  16. Exactly why we will wait to experiences the menu changes ourselves and not from what others have experienced. Zero influence. I put very little faith in Celebrity's app but based on what we've seen for our October Eclipse cruise, nothing like @jc foster posted. We could and will build a 5 course meal each evening with very little duplication. The duplication would on some nights with appetizers, soups and salads which we have always done in the past. Nothing new there for us.
  17. Exactly why I never tell my wife about suites. 😇
  18. Sea days and especially if the weather is under the weather than it will fill up early and stay that way most of the day. And yes, chair hogging even happens in the Solarium.
