  1. Our QG had a bath shower combo with a shower curtain. #9042. We had a QG4 and it had a separate shower with a door, but the bathtub had a shower curtain.
  2. Golly @Bigmike911, l’ve never tried to buy them. How about Etsy? Amazon provides them when you order an item from them and have it gift wrapped.
  3. @Bigmike911 After filling many trash bins with wrapping paper I decided we were going to really take to heart Reduce-Reuse-Recyle. I bought lots of beautiful fabric and started sewing gift bags of all sizes. For many years I had purchased wired ribbon, so I attached them to the bags. It has really made getting presents under the tree an easy process. I wish I could say mine were all under the tree, but we don’t think we can do it until closer to Christmas because the 3-year old would want to open them immediately. I bet you’ve got your Christmas dinner all planned. Are you doing chestnut soup again this year? We’re having dinner on Wednesday at a restaurant with wonderful chestnut soup and I plan to order it. Happy Holidays!
  4. @Pushpit I’m sure glad you admitted to turning the plate of salad so you could take the picture. The plating inspectors would have been all over that! The emblem must be properly centered at the top. The food is looking good.
  5. Oh now I’m jealous - Stephen Payne is on board and speaking. I hope he does the same TA next year when we’ll be on board. Enjoy @Pushpit and thanks for your updates.
  6. Thanks for the great review. I especially liked the specific information for the ports of call.
  7. @david,Mississauga Ah David, if you sail into Seattle I’ll serve you a nice dinner on our deck as well as pick you up at the dock and deliver you to the airport. Gee, now I need to remember I’ve made this promise!
  8. @Lanky Lad @exlondoner I love choral music and would love to be in London for a John Rutter concert. We missed it in 2022 by a week at the V and A Hall. Does anyone know if this is a yearly tradition? If so, is there a usual schedule? I’m trying to fit it into TA’s and Christmas Markets. (We attended a family choir concert at St. Martin’s In The Field in 2022 and loved it). Thanks for any help.
  9. Church on Sunday and I thought of all of our discussions about jeans. Our early church service is very low key. Jeans are common. But…a person wore a pair with lots of holes…and I thought about our discussions and quickly remembered it didn’t matter in this case…it didn’t matter.
  10. We need a picture or two of these ‘table top’ tops @Victoria2.
  11. So glad you had a grand time! Thanks for the review.
  12. I received the email and looked at all the material with interest, but I fear most of the items will be in sizes I can no longer wear. 😉 There were some fashions best left in the past (remember the white track suit with the bright pink splashes and elastic around the ankles that were made of unbreathable material).
  13. @Lanky Lad Did you get enough to have some fun with it?
  14. @ronpes I’m so glad you didn’t fall. I lived in an area for several years that frequently received freezing rain and I learned to just not go out. Hauling all of that feed sounds like a lot of work. I hope it warms up and melts soon.
  15. Another book I love, The Boys in the Boat, is coming out in a few weeks as a movie. I hope they do it justice.
  16. @Bigmike911 Glad to hear there was no damage to your floor, the SubZero is covered by insurance, and a new dishwasher is on the way. We got the tree up this weekend, but the mantel still needs to be done. Tomorrow is the annual Swedish Breakfast at church. I will cook Swedish pancakes from 6:00 - 12:30, two pans at a time. Proceeds go to charities. It is suppose to pour down rain for several days but at least it isn’t snow. Everyone have a good weekend.
  17. As I scrolled through the pictures I recognized several outfits from my past. Some are best left in the past. 🤭
  18. I also didn’t add the champagne glasses used prior to dinner which definitely have stems. Poor DH gets wrinkly hands from all the washing. 😞
  19. We have stemless glasses for everyday wine, but at dinner use the stems. The Irish crystal hasn’t been out of the china cabinet for several years! We usually serve two different wines during a dinner party, so 6 people means 12 glasses to wash by hand. DH washes and I dry. We ran the dishwasher 3 times on Thanksgiving. I hope you didn’t have floor damage due to the dishwasher mishap @Bigmike911.
  20. We’re celebrating Thanksgiving today, Friday, so everyone could be together. The oven is heating, the bird has been brined and is ready to go in. I’m about to make the deviled eggs. The beans are ready to be dropped, the carrots are ready for a glaze, the horseradish cranberry sauce is ready to go. The only thing left is making the dressing, not stuffing, with dried cranberries and porcini and trumpet mushrooms. Oh, I can’t forget the chocolate mousse! And of course, DH makes the buttery sinful mashed potatoes! Seahawks lost miserably last night so we’re ready for the two local rivalries, Washington State vs. U. Of Wash. and Oregon St. vs. U of Oregon. DH has Dr. and teaches at U.W, daughter in law graduated from WSU, and our son is U of O, the ducks, graduate. It will be an exciting afternoon! Everyone have a fun Black Friday.
  21. @exlondoner I’m trying to find the article on-line. Do you remember the month it was published? Thanks.
  22. Our Cunard magazine arrived yesterday, Wednesday. It took 2 additional days.
