Many thanks for asking. She Is still in the hospital. Her blood pressure has been all over the map, so they are keeping her for one more night. Hopefully tomorrow is the day. I just got home from visiting her.

Mom isn’t being discharged until Monday now. Physio wants to see more from here before they sign off. Thanks for all the good wishes to her.

I’m back to my hotel from the hospital. Mom’s doing welll all things considered. She might be discharged tomorrow or maybe Sunday. YTD On the drive back there was some thunder snow. I’ve not seen any in a few years. I got some dinner from a restaurant around the corner. Now just watching the movie Speed. Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves are babies. A quick example of my driving/walking fun tonight. I gave a shoutout to a friend in Miami, so don’t be surprised to hear it.

Yes. Mom is now out of PACU but not in her room. Once she is I can head to the hospital. It is about 15 minutes away. The snow has really started here now. The roads are white.

Discharge is either tomorrow or Sunday. It’s a wait and see. Meanwhile I’m in a hotel as there is heavy snow with high winds forecast for tonight. I’m certainly not driving home with no visibility.

Just waiting from my mom to get moved to a room post surgery recovery. Her second hip is done and the surgeon said it went well.

I’m responding to you quoting me twice. I don’t dislike nor distrust RC. It’s just easy to be cynical by some of their actions. It’s not the people, it’s their practices at times for me. And I think you have the same feels about RC as I do. I’m long past the 2 increases but some, like you, don’t like it and it still resonates.

A guy I follow on Instagram just boarded a Seabourn Adventure Expedition Ship to Antarctica yesterday. These are his posts late last night. His comment in the second screenshot says it all. If I was on the world cruise I’d be happy to be waiting till the weather let up.

Seems like it’s a common situation/occurrence, in this part of the cruise world. Running late and missing a port or two is a much better option than throwing caution to the wind. Every veteran cruiser knows that cruises can deviate at any time for any reason. Clearly no one wants another Anthem winter weather bomb situation again.

Owen now has his G2, and can drive on his own. Now he has to save up for some wheels, but until then we don’t have to drive him to all of his practices.

One can say Voyager, Freedom and Oasis Class were just upped in size from the Class previous. Oasis just being substantially more than the Freedom Class. Quantum Class was a design in a different direction. I agree. To add to this, not all Oasis Class ships were constructed by the same builder yet they share many similarities. It’s the Marine Architect that followed the styling direction and design needs from RC.
