I'm guessing that Carnival no longer works with Verifly?
That's what I used but that was during the Covid days. That electronic check in and verification worked very well.
Boarding pass was still needed.

Print it....they stamp and initial it as part of the process.

Folks...it was a temporary situation during an inspection. Don't make it something it isn't.

Location. We have never minded being in an interior and many times find great deals staying in them.

Sort of. Problem is all of your Cheer's drinks just show $0.00 on the final invoice. You can click on the individual transactions in the Hub app to see what it was but it does not print out.

The restaurants a free and the ocean can still be rough.

From the BBQ they produce and serve I would find any other class for them to teach me than that one. They need to attend a class, not be offering it.

It was no longer offered on our last two cruises.

We loved them all except Fortune Teller. The drinks were just ok and the service was snails pace because they were busy creating giant bubbles or whatever on the drinks. Neat for the first time, annoying after.

It is truly a guessing game. In my experience they will have 2 or 3 entrees from the MDR available on the buffet. If you happen to like those....great. If you wouldn't have ordered them in the MDR....not so great. Also, by skipping the MDR you miss all the appetizers which are one of the highlights of the meal for me.

That's the glass, not the tervis tumbler (although they could be the same price). We also bought a couple of the glasses to take to our camp.
Ahhhh.....we nevermind then. LOL.

Rumor been around for years, various cruise outlets on Youtube recently brought it back up as a concern.
Youtube? LOL. I don't think there is any factual information coming from there, just clickbait content to get you to watch their videos.

I would assume, then, that pre-ordering breakfast coffee etc the evening before would be best? Hopefully they at least knock before they leave your tray? (do they leave your tray at your door?)
You can tell how much a newbie I am 😶
I have yet to be on a ship that allows ordering the night before. You have to call and order it when you are ready and just hope there isn't a huge wait. We have ordered and had them arrive in 10 minutes, other times 45.
That has pretty much made us look at other option because the convenience is no longer there of knowing it will arrive at a set time. Knowing the order would arrive at 7am and setting an alarm around that was a nice start to the day. Now getting up to order and sitting there waiting for delivery isn't the same experience.
For your question....they knock and wait for you to let them in. The drop the tray in the cabin and you sign the receipt.

I believe they are $11.50 now. The cost is usually listed on the menu.

THANK YOU for this...
I put in a conservative estimate for me (as opposed to DH's far less conservative expectations) & it said even for that, get the package!
Even a coffee, soda, pre-dinner cocktail, wine at dinner, post-dinner cocktail, bottle of water is a wash.
I feel a lot better about our decision! (and we got it a bit cheaper than it is now!)
We fought it mentally when Cheers first came out even though we knew what our prior bar tabs ran and that was with us still being budget conscious. It was a NCL cruise with open bar that opened our eyes. It can be hard to swallow the package price lump sum but by the drink we ended up with the same result with more mental gymnastics. Cheers really made the overall experience much more enjoyable for us.

You never know till you give it a try!
Yup. Many aren't honest with themselves. Lots of 'oh I only have 2 drinks a day' turn into anything but that on vacation.
We cruised with a couple over the spring who did not buy Cheers for that reason. They ended up paying just as much as we did with Cheers at the end and that was with them worrying about the budget as the cruise progressed.

It's a math exercise. All you can do if you are unsure is estimate what and how much you would drink using one of the online calculators and see what it says on average. If you actually stick to that estimate is the second part of the equation.

I would avoid it. To large of a chance of an outright delay or work still being in progress while underway. Also, there will be growing pains from the crew trying to get back in the flow.

Many of us tend to tut tut anything we perceive to be different. I have to ask, is that a Them problem? or a Me problem?
"Me" is still doing and acting the same way I and the vast majority of my fellow cruisers of the time always acted over the last 20 years.

I'm wondering what you mean by this.
When we were on the Dream last week, a ton more folks were dressing up on the elegant nights than I would have ever guessed based on the discussion on these forums and the general vibe of the ship was very much in line with their cruise casual guidelines.
My recent experience on 3 of our last 4 cruises, 2 out of NOLA, was anything but that. It was a crowd more focused on smoking weed and being rowdy. The only decent Carnival cruise we had this year was on the MG.

Incorrect. 21 is the minimum age.
However, the 17yo cannot sail in this example as they would need a chaperone over 25.
