Just a follow-up, checked my cruise points this morning. Went from 45 to 59 so it I did get double points and now I'm emerald. Does not mean that much but it does get me closer to Diamond.

Yes the drink of the day on allure last week was $6.95 everyday and that included the glass. They are no longer discounting the drinks $1 if you don't want the glass. Left many glasses around the ship and in the stateroom.

Craps table was hot too. Have a hard time getting into soccer but since they were booking bets it made watching fun. So I took the longest shot of the day. I think the day before it was Spain and Netherlands at 3to1 but the close betting an hour before the game.

Just off allure soccer is everywhere and the are selling different country shirts at one of the stores. Also on the allure casino is offering odds on the games everyday and taking bets. I got 7to1 odds on the Costa Rica game yesterday so it was fun to watch the game and make a good chunk of money on the under dog.

We saw it too last night. It only happens on allure eastern route it was between 10:30 and 11:00 I think on starboard side Oasis was following a princess ship. We got invited to the bridge Friday morning and the captain was telling us about it. They get to about 1.5 miles from one another when it happens. They are not allowed any closer when not traveling in the same direction. Captain thore is a neat guy and will tell you anything you ask if he knows the answer.

Watch those prices after final payment, since they no longer offer the difference in OBC you can ask for an upgrade. We had a dramatic price decrease 2 weeks before the cruise and we got moved so they could sell or room at a cheaper price. It also helps that on the larger ships that have more suites that do not get bought to get bumped. By the way whoever got our JS this week we left behind some gifts for you. We asked Yvonne the cabin attendant to leave it there so you can enjoy the wine that we won in the M&M, wife does not like Chardonnay. Trying to keep the good vibes going forward so we can get visited again by the fairy!

Well everyone thanks for going on this journey with me. I just got my cabin and it is a JS on the hump on deck 10. So this is a win for me, wish I could have landed that gold card room but I guess the revenue dept got people to upsell their rooms. For me I went from deck 8 ocean balcony to deck 10 hump JS for no extra cost. Can you say "winning".

Still showing "gty" on my booking. I'm going crazy!

And to think in just 72 hours I will be on this ship in a fantastic deluxe room of some sort, drinking a lava flow or dirty monkey and not worrying about life issues for 7 days.

They called my TA and then called us and asked if we would like to have the "w" cat for no extra money. They explained what a "w" meant and that we might not find out until we get to the port. So I gave up my ocean balcony that I had reserved over a year ago for this, even at a JS it is awesome but still holding out hope that it will be the lovely gold card rooms.

Royal family would be a nice surprise. Of course your GS would work for us too. Still waiting!

Ok only 4 days to go and still nothing. I think I'm going crazy now. Thought for sure I would get something yesterday.

If that is the case and I don't find out until I board which I hope does not happen. I will make a post on the ship before we turn off all technology. We still live by the rule of once muster happens no technology while on vacation. We survived without it when we were kids and it feels good to go back those days while on vacation. Unless I get the room with the piano then I will let techno thing play it for us. "at least that is what happens in my dreams."

7 days till cruise and as of today still no assignment. As for getting burned I will not feel this way at all since I paid for a ocean view balcony and they called me for the "w" cat for no extra money. It's a win win either way I was past final payment so it was either keep my room or move up to at least a JS or better for the same price. I hope they keep the same for my cruise with the assignments coming out on Tuesday since I ready to find out now. I can dream about being in the piano room or the gigantic aqua suite but will be happy when I find out where my JS is located.

Did you have to go through any customs in st Thomas since your previous port was Nassau? I remember years back having to do customs on the voyager the morning of st Thomas because we went to Nassau and it took awhile as the line snaked thru the dining room and we missed our ship excursion.

I have this for my June 8th sailing and still have not found out. Was told I might not know until sail date and to find pier coordinator for room assignment so they can tag bags. It is driving me crazy because I check hourly to see if I have been given a number. I too wish for something better even a CRown loft but will be happy with the JS since they upgraded me for free 2 weeks ago from my 8th floor balcony.

Are the family suites true suites? I did a mock booking and the was one at the end by the board walk but it looks the same size as a regular room just turned sideways it is also showing under balcony rooms and not the deluxe section. I thought the only family suite that was considered a true suite was the royal family. Any thoughts?

Still waiting, just booked an excursion hoping that wold reveal something and it did not. They only thing I have left to do is have them re-issue my E-Docs, i'm think that might get me an assignement, but I was kinda waiting until 2 weeks out before I tried that adventure.

Also my wife told me today she is interested in the premium package, but i'm having her wait until we get an assignment because if we do get lucky and get a gold card I don't think we would drink enough to justify that package. I might be wrong but I think I read that the Conc. Club has comp. pre-dinner cocktails is this correct? Does anyone know if they also have mimosas for breakfast?

I just booked a shore trip and it took over an hour to get that done for my June trip on allure. I think I will just wait until i'm on the ship for my other bookings, RCCL did a poor job releasing this before it was ready.

Saw the new pre-cruise planner and went all over it trying to figure if there was a clue but nothing yet. Hopefully soon rccl is showing no suites now so maybe some assignments will be made.
