Very nice review. Wonderful pics. Loved the food pics. I do have a question. When u ate breakfast or lunch at Cagneys. Was this a preset menu? How many different choices were on the menu and could you order an omelette for breakfast? Thanks.

If you decide on your cruise based on the availability of Coke products, by all means cancel and rebook a different cruiseline.
You may have misunderstood my post. I told my wife we should try another cruise line other than Royal. Norwegian had the itinerary we liked the best. we don't know anything about NCL nor do we know about the ship Jade. So not having coke is not a deal breaker. I will find coke in ports and bring it onboard for my wife. No sweat, no pressure, all is good
-
I agree with above post. Coffee bars in more than one place and coke on all ships. Really, who wants a rum and Pepsi.
-
This will be my first time on NCL. My wife won't be happy. I convinced her to try another cruiseline besides RCI. She drinks coke. Won't be happy that the store on board does not sell it. Since we will be cruising in Europe don't know where we could buy to bring onboard.

A sweet deal for booking a Suite. Nice
-
Can you buy coke anywhere on the ship.
-
I saw a post somewhere on CC that NCL drydocks the ships every four years.

I will be on part of your jade journey. We r doing 9-23 may 2015

That's the place. Thanks for being a great historian.

Jade was refurbished in 2011

Nice video. I have a cruise booked but it's over a year away. I can be happy with this video until my cruise

Very nice video. Thanks for posting

Well I stand corrected. I have never sailed NCL. I guess I will be able to sail for 14 days with one bill. Thanks for correcting my mistake.

We did a tour of some gardens. There were lots of tress and there was an aqueduct system that went around the area. They said back in the day this system provided water for the area.

Your pictures are so beautiful. Such clarity

I will stick to the aft cabin. I don't mind walking and rarely use elevator.
-
Even though you are on B2B or if NCL booked it as a 14 day trip, you will have to close out folio and get new card for second portion of trip.
-
Got it thanks. We were there in 07. We did the tour of the aqueduct and gardens then went to the walled city.

Sammie1900 you can google Venice port schedule and find which ships are in port that day
-
You can catch your flight. Check your ships schedule. It should dock around 6am. You can self disembark and be off ship by 7:00 or 7:30. Taxis will be at port. It is about 15 min ride to airport. The airport will be very hectic on cruise days. Both for people flying in to catch your ship and people coming off ships headed home. Also depends on how many ships dock that day. When we arrived on Royal Caribbean, our delta flt was delayed coming to Venice so we took an hour delay leaving. But I believe our flight was 10:50. We left around noon. Good luck. I will be flying to Venice next year. Am doing. B2B out of Venice. Delta will be my airline of choice. Have not booked yet since it's over a year before my cruise.

When I visited Santorini there was supposed to be three ships in port; when we docked there were five. Two ships could not dock on Mykonos due to high seas so they came to santorini. bottom line, you really won't know until you arrive in port.

What type of excursions is Celebrity offering for your day in Santorini?
-
Do the different cruiselines like RCCL or NCL provide shuttle buses to the walled city? Assume they do for a certain price. Bus drops u off and takes you back to ship. Is this correct?
-
So your saying that if you visit turkey on a cruise ship and your in port for 12 hours or less, you have to pay $20 for a visa?
-
I think some one mentioned the cruiseline runs bus shuttles to town and back. When I was in Dubrovnik Royal Caribbean ran buses to the city and back. They had a drop off and pickup point. I think last buss left downtown an hour prior to sailing. I assume it's the same for Mykonos
