Has the patio been open on this Onward Caribbean cruise most every night for dinner? And lunch?

One of the best points to Azamara….they will find an alternate port, instead of doing doughnuts all day in the ocean with that other “not to be named” cruise line we tried earlier in the year! 😳

That is for the Ultimate package? I didn’t feel the Ultimate Package was good for wine at this time last year. For alcohol, yes. It doesn’t sound like it had improved much and basically, you can’t rely on being served decent wine! But I can remember the days when the included wines were fine on Azamara and were coming from the areas we were visiting. Now, even the wines on the ultimate package are inferior, let alone the included ones. It is disappointing that it is still going on a year later! Leading me to wonder……is this happening across other cruiselines?

I love Azamara, for the most part, but this wine situation is really disappointing to me! I can’t remember the last time I had to bother worrying about bringing wine with me or buying it in port, but it is what it is! Does anyone have any comments about having supply chain issues with wines on other cruise lines? I know, for awhile, it was an issue across all cruiselines. I haven’t kept up with whether this is still a issue with others, or just Azamara?

Gosh, the sea conditions have been pretty rough for you. Very windy also? Last yr at this time it was quite windy. The seas leaving Miami to our first port, St Thomas, were pretty choppy last year. Maybe that’s just the conditions this time of year?

Well, I wouldn’t wait because I would be afraid they would be gone, if really popular. Also, I track the prices and they are cheapest when booked early on or when they offer a 20% off sale on shorex. The prices go up as you get closer the cruise! Keep checking in and look at shorex to see if there is a sale.

That’s what we are doing and packing a bottle or two.

Can anyone find out how many passengers are expected on 12/12 cruise on Onward? Thanks! 😀I I wonder if wines, and especially champagne, will be Re provisioned in Miami?

Coffee drinks at Mosaic are included for everyone…..no package needed. Perhaps you are thinking of another cruise line…..Celebrity?

So, to be clear, the loyalty discount can be used on the purchase of the Ultimate Bev Package but not on the wine packages?

We had heard Onward brought some of their best onboard at the beginning. Some may have rotated off Onward and heard some had Issues getting visas for US.

Getting a little worried about what we may encounter 12/12! We are boarding right behind you. Hoping for the best. Already know we aren’t bothering upgrading to the Ultimate package. In fact, will have to buy or bring my own wine! At least the Patio was open for you! Is the Windows buffet following any kind of theme at all? Like Indian, Italian, etc?

Can’t fix it…..because? Or just no response to your reports? Balcony cabin or CC? Regardless, I would not be pleased, either!

I wonder if the selection of wines to purchase by the bottle is any improvement?

That’s the one! We were so lucky we got to go to Delphi. That was only a port stop for a few times, that I know of. 😄 We used to sail a lot with X, but now, almost exclusively with Azamara. I hope you enjoy your cruise! Any questions, please ask. Everyone is very helpful here!

Wanted to warn that the reciprocity for loyalty status with X (for those members who have never sailed with Azamara) ends 2/1/23, I believe.
