Is anybody sailing in the cheap seats and willing to take photos of their cabin? Are the standard Britannia balconies noticeably different to QM2/QV/QE?
There are some details in this thread

@Host Hattie Do you have a booking on this elegant ship?
Not until next year at the moment but I've got my eye on one in September.

That sad notice headed Preparing for disembarkation was waiting on our bed when we got back from breakfast. 😢
That's just mean ....

I think @rhiannon84 meant the instant sachets in Britannia cabins not in the restaurant.

You can also order via room service

Have a look at Santander Zero. No extra fees for spending abroad.
Another vote for Santander Zero, I've got a Starling current account so no fees on ATM withdrawals if you need cash.

I have moved the discussion of the previous cruise and the merits of Portsmouth to a new thread.

Can someone explain something for me please. We are on Britannia open dining so we eat on deck 3 and arrive when we like. However we tend to book an early slot as we like to go to the first show.
We enjoy moving around, meeting new neighbours and experiencing different servers.
We have noticed that there are quite a few people who have set tables they go to every night on deck 3. They bypass the front desk and seat themselves. How is this possible with open dining? Is it an overflow of fixed dining guests from deck 2?Possibly, we were on QM2 last year on fixed dining but on the open dining floor.

I believe I saw one gentleman last night.
Thanks, that explains @TowandaUK's post.
I hope you're enjoying your dancing.

I hope you all enjoyed your Canary Island visits, or your days on board if you didn't get off. I hope you have good weather for the sail home.

Hi, that’s lovely to hear, I appreciate your grace towards those of us still learning! it’s a private dance group where we pay extra to the organizer who hires a few pros (2 male/2 female) and some hosts (3 additional men on this one) to dance with the guests in the evenings, and we can hire the hosts for private lessons as well.
Does that mean there aren't any Cunard employed Dance hosts on this sailing?

Is your deposit refundable? If so, you won't lose anything. If not, you may be able to transfer to a different itinerary but it will depend on your booking conditions.

Hattie, Yes. But we met a couple who weren’t in the grills and also had a $12 limit.
I'm not sure when that was but the current limit for the paid for package has been increased as above.
Are you currently on board or not happy with the pre-cruise concierge service?

According to the Cunard website drinks like some cocktails and some wines by the glass can be up to 13.50 if you get the drinks package. Here is a link to the info on their website: A world of drinks - Drinks packages - Cunard cruises
That's the limit for the paid for drinks package. There is a Drinks package often included with Grills bookings in the US which has a $12 limit.
@njpln are you asking about the Grills package?

At least the full refund option is there now.
I'm surprised they didn't offer it to start with.

Cunard has the same system as Holland America, a daily amount will be added to your onboard account.

We've been above the theatre at least once but I'd have to check which ship. There was some noise from afternoon rehearsals but nothing unpleasant and we are usually out of the cabin during the evening performances.
There was no early morning noise.

Are they the suites with a sofa bed ?
