  2. If I am COVID negative at 7am.................................................... I'll be posting by 7:38 am Yes 7:38am That gives me time to screw up the first test kit, and the DH hold my hand while I do the second. But we do have a test scheduled at Walgreens at 10:00 am, if I really cannot do anything right. Pray for first attempt, Hoping for NEGATIVE.
  3. I am so sorry for you. Now besides being in quarantine, do they check on your status. Anyone, come in contact with you. Or do you have to call for assistance. Do you get to see your DH? Take care
  4. We are doing the excursion that you swim with sharks. DH must have asked me when I zoned him out and I just responds” yes dear”. Besides we have 2 turtle habitats in our downstairs family room. We have SLO-POKE we adopted when he was just a puddle jumper over 15 years ago. He will eat any from flies to bologna to shrimp to cat food. And PEEVE that we found freshly hatched when we were walking on our street and the crows were circling above. He was the size of a quarter. He is growing up and now the size of small 4 inch plate. Our daughter named him as her little “ pet peeve”.
  5. Mark and Susan Safe travels to you too. Funny we are using our brand new suitcases we ordered from Amaon. I talked him into the prettiest purple you have ever seen. Praying for a negative COVID test also. We are going to do our home kits at 7am. We have check in at port at 11am. I am 99.9999999999999% sure I will post live if we get to cruise with that negative COVID. Take care Safe travels.
  6. @Mrs.H Welcome to one of the most friendliest, diversified, worldwide threads on CC. When you get to know us you will see that we all share our unique different day to day experiences. As a group we have shared, great milestones to the other side of the spectrum----- events that have brought us closer together. If I mention names of some of the participants I would do this site injustice because all of us bring our individuality to this site. And knowing me I would forget someone and then I would be mad at myself. Our topics vary, and we go with the flow. You will see that the context can range from posting of great pictures, to "how to do" different things, to just plain chit chat. But, what I like most about us is a kind group of posters. I mean if they can tolerate me, well, Looking forward to your post. By the way.................... I'm Sue. (The story teller, aka rambling on and on and on). Take care............................
  7. The house my husband grew up in and we just sold, was built by the Amish around 1977. Talk about synchronized motion. He has pictures of the house build and there had to be over 15 men working at one time. He said they looked like aerialist moving in all directions, not wasting a moment of talent and every minute something was accomplished. He remembers they brought their lunch took mini breaks and worked from sun up till sun down. They set up a payment schedule cash deals and as the build went on and everything was done ahead of schedule. They made a major wall mistake in his mothers side of the duplex, and it was too late to adjust so they compensated, with no issue. Their wood work was a piece of art. All fixtures as well as the custom work was thorough. I just wonder how much it would cost to build a 4000 square foot side by side duplex, with full basement custom built now a days. When we sold it 4 weeks ish, ago, we put it on the market on a Monday and two days later we accepted an offer for a nice "Over the bid". The quality lasted, oh it needed some loving, but it was durable. Take care.
  8. PARTIAL NEWS FLASH. Trying to confirm the news story I heard on the radio, with no luck so far. Did someone on the east coast have an earthquake today??? Shattering news. Take care
