The MO is a really nice hotel but be aware that they took almost all of the tubs out of the rooms when remodeling it from the GH. If you can get a room with club access, the food there was excellent. It's also worth joining the MO Fan group.

The Captain updated us at noon on our projected arrival at Horta. We are now likely to be docked at midday instead of at 8am and the weather should improve later. We have 322 Venetians and about 170 newbies onboard.

Currently on the Moon and just completed the Barcelona to Lisbon leg. We chose 3 included excursions and they all met our expectations. General feedback from other guests was positive.

To be honest, no. We had swells of 25 to 30’ but the ship is handling it well. It was worse again in the middle of the night. We have sailed in far worse weather than this.

That is seriously sad news.

It was a bit bumpy last night, particularly around 2am, but nothing to worry about. It’s cloudy with some sun breaking through and the swell looks about 8 to 10’. There has been a major change in masking policy from yesterday, crew do not have to wear masks outside and there seems to be some other relaxation depending on crew position. Bar staff and wait staff still have to wear them in public. Masks are no longer required for crew in the crew areas. Guest masking requirements have not changed for this voyage. The Voices may now dine with guests. There has been no formal announcement made by anyone.

We were on the Moon ta from Lisbon to Ft Lauderdale last November and there was no VAT imposed.
