We have done the Private Oasis a few times the same way you have ans enjoyed it very much. Also agree with your "ship within a ship" assessment. I enjoy having the concierge in the Neptune lounge available if needed.

If you want a private area at HMC, rent the Private Oasis. We have several different varieties of crape myrtles here that bloom at different times. Yes, they are cut back every fall and the easy way for us to keep track is by color. The whites are the first to bloom, then the pinks in mid-spring, then the reds in late spring, then the purple (called grapes here) in late summer. They are beautiful when they bud and flower, and they love the sandy soil!

Our concierge on the NS in December name was also Princess. Not sure if same one ir not. She was excellent and tied with one other as the best one we ever had.

I am sure you can. We don't drink adult beverages and I always take the bottle from the room to the concierge and they have offered to exchange it for soda or water. Since we usually get the "early HIA package", I decline and tell her to just keep it.
