I have booked a Guarantee, my 1st time. Anyone that has booked one after you are assigned your stateroom can you ask for another available stateroom in the same category? I assume you could also bid for an upgrade. Thanks for your help! Tom😀

When you board the ship there are always staff selling the packages. I would think you could upgrade once on the ship. I’m going on a cruise where I want to use all of my OBC to pay for part of the Princess Plus cost so I plan to buy it once onboard. Let us know if you have anymore information. Tom😀

Welcome to the news. This has been happening for quite a while. As was mentioned a discount & you let them choose your stateroom or pay the regular price & you decide. My balcony on the Emerald Princess, December 9, 2023 for a 14 day cruise on the Princess Website for a BD Balcony is $3,995 for selecting your stateroom. Through my agent I have a balcony on the Caribe deck for $3,898.65 & I picked out my own stateroom. Both prices will all of the fees. I saved around $96.00. Let us know what you decide. Through my T/A my fare has always been less than booking directly through Princess. Tom😀

I just sent in my Stock Credit for one in December 2023 & one in April. With the new regulations I'm curious if I get this credit along with the veterans credit that I already have. Tom😀

Here’s my OZ balcony on the Royal Princess this year. It didn’t take anything away from my cruise as I had a greatly reduced fare. I was in Stateroom: E319 (Deluxe Balcony: DW) Tom😀

I have done this before but my T/A handled everything. I never had to fill anything out. Can’t your T/A do this as mine has done before? Tom🤔

Here’s 2 bottles that I was served last year. You’ll see what wineries they were from. I’ll check on my next dinner. I have been to both the Wine Makers dinner & the Chef’s Table & the Chef’s Table is my first choice. I’ve never had a bad meal & the same meal in San Francisco would cost around $500. The UBD or UBB are both great & for 2 people we couldn’t eat everything. Tom😀

Here’s some photos of myself on Formal Night. I enjoy dressing up a little & get a lot of nice compliments. You’ll see how some of my friends also dressed up. On this cruise around 30% of the people dressed up. I’ve questioned before, while onboard with management, as to why they don’t in force the dress code when it’s listed as a formal night & was told that they don’t want to upset the passengers. If this is so than they should call it something else. Tom😀

I can highly recommend the Valuetrips web site. I made a reservation for December 6-9, 2023 for 3 nights & was charged $460 including all fees at the Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port. On the Hyatt web site it is $300 per night, so over $1,000 for 3 nights with fees. Tom😀

Your magnetic hooks are just what I bring along with hooks to add documents. I also have some stronger magnets as I decorate my door during the holidays. Here’s a copy of my door last Christmas. I have a friend that makes a door sign for me. Tom😀
