I'm so amazed and saddened at how much things have changed since I made this video just 6 months ago. How I wish for things to just get back to some kind of normalcy again. 

Interesting read about what Carnival is planning on doing with some of their ships. I'm sure NCL and RCL will be doing the same.

What would happen to all these cruise ships if the cruise industry goes bankrupt? 

According to this RCL crew member's latest video, the crew members were notified yesterday by the Captain that there was a change in plans and most will now be sent home over the course of the next 30 days.  This crew member in particlar was told he will leaving next week. I have to think that NCL is doing the same thing.

As this random act of kindness starts to spread on social media it will also serve as good publicity for the cruise line. Like you, I am inclined to book my next cruise with Celebrity after seeing this!  I couldn't be happier for the crew on that cruise ship! 

Although not NCL, I still thought it was worth a share just because it's such feel good story to off set all the negativity and uncertainty over cruising lately. Hope you enjoy and make sure to watch the video clip of Captain Kate announcing to the crew that they would be getting a balcony stateroom. I hope NCL is taking notice and doing the same for their crew. So awesome!

I can only imagine what they must be going through. On a side note, I am FB friends with a certain crew member who was our butler in the Haven on the Bliss. I read this morning on her FB wall from others posting that she passed away very unexpectedly during this sailing. I'm still in disbelief.

Last Thursday, we decided to cancel our Bliss cruise that leaves today 3/1.

We had the cancel for any reason insurance and made the decision to be better safe then sorry. If it wasn't for the insurance we would still be going but since we paid for it and had it in place it just seemed like a no brainer. We will rebook at a later time once things start to settle down with the Coronavirus.

We will getting on one week from today and we are also in the Haven! 

This was our H5 on the Bliss last February. We have another booked for our March cruise.

Plenty of space in the cabin and as others have said, Deck 17 has a bigger balcony. Location, location, location is my motto. If your going to pay Haven prices you might as well stay in the Haven complex. :)

If there was one thing that I would nit pick about this suite, it's the bathtub/shower which you will see in my video below. I would prefer a walk in shower rather than a bathtub with a shower head.

Other then that, the suite was fabulous!

Yes the Rebel Yell was booked through NCL.

I highly recommend this excursion! We've done it 3 times and it never gets old.

I was on that sailing with spa passes and on the cold sea days, the spa was mobbed. People were jerks about reserving loungers with their stuff instead of putting it in lockers. You couldn't even get a non-thermal lounger on those cold sea days. It was definitely lovely on the port days and the warmer sea days, though! Except the one day I went in and someone had decide to dry all of there personal laundry in the Sauna and Sanarium. I did NOT pay $300 to sit next to someone's dirty socks! I reported it to the front desk and they got the items quickly removed.

What time did you arrive at the spa on the cold sea days? Were you able to get a lounger?

I want to make sure that we can get 2 loungers for our cruise in March without having to fight for them.
