Oh dear..we're due to embark Azura on Saturday in Tenerife for the re-positioning to Malta. Although I do like green beans but not ALL OF THE TIME. Many thanks to Selbourne for the excellent blog. I've been glued to it every morning and making notes as we have booked a cruise on Aurora May 2025 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Missed out on our 25th in 2020 as lockdown struck.

What a brilliant read. Loved it especially your call at Cadiz as it's one of my favourite places. Will be calling there in March when we are embarking Azura for her repositioning to Malta. Been on Arcadia a couple of times and enjoyed it. Thank you for your taking the time to post your journey..must have taken you a considerable time.

Suite guests still get a small box of 2 larger size lotions whereas before they got 4 small lotions. We did on Britannia in September 2023 but canopies are now only on formal nights.

As far as I am aware you have to collect your luggage on arrival in Tenerife and take it to the coach? Was wondering myself whether to attach labels before flying to Tenerife or when we arrive. Any suggestions?

Our copy of the Moments magazine landed by post last week. We get them at least twice a year and are only Mediterranean level at the moment. Also would be lost without my wall calendar - everything goes on it including birthdays, appointments and holidays. My hubby would be lost without it.

Okay - many thanks for your quick reply. It seems strange to have to just show passports...I presume they will give us boarding cards to get through security.

Yes both inward and outward flights are charter ones. I have a confirmation email showing the seats booked so will print that. I presume that I just show my passport when I get to the airport?

I have managed to book and pay for my flight seats on our upcoming cruise next March 2024. I am wondering when or where I can either download or print out my flight document to show at the airport? Cannot see anywhere where I can do this. Any help appreciated.

We were on Britannia in September and it was a sit down meal. Everything was good.

Thanks ever so much for your blog. We are booked on the re-positioning cruise on Azura back to Malta March 2024. Already know that we are flying out to Tenerife with Jet2 and returning home from Malta with Tui. Seems that I will be able to book seats around 14wks before departure. Not done a fly cruise for a lot of years but think we are on a charter flight for both. Really looking forward to this long cruise. The last time we were on Azura she broke down in Norway!!! We had 8 nights instead of 7.

Disembarked from Britannia last week and the Grab & Go around the pool area was empty although the cabinets were still in position.

Having only mostly sailed from Southampton on P&O cruises we have a re-positioning cruise on Azura next March flying out to Tenerife and back from Malta. My question is can I pick extra leg room seats when I am allowed to choose these (if available) or do I have to let P&O know beforehand. The only fly cruise which we have done was flying to Barbados to join Britannia several years ago and for which we did purchase PE seats. Also do you have to pay for these extra leg room seats straight away? I think the balance of this cruise is due round about 17 December 2023 and seats are available 14 weeks prior to embarkation? According to my CP my outward flight is with Jet2 and the return one is TBA although the timings are shown but not the actual airline. Any information welcome.

Disembarked Britannia on Friday 15th and there were no USB outlets in our cabin. Glad that I took a 4-way extension lead with me.

Can someone please help. We are due to fly out on Tues 18th April to Palma. I have completed all the paperwork and printed off luggage labels, boarding passes. I have also checked in online but can only print out the outward flight. How do I print off the return flight? Completely confused. Any help appreciated.

Hi everyone - because we are embarking Discovery 2 on 18th April we still have to provide proof of covid vaccination according to Marella website. We are both fully vaccinated and I have taken a screenshot from our NHS app confirming this. Will this be enough proof or do I have to print out everything? If anyone has just returned from a cruise any information would be appreciated. I received an email this morning informing me that I have to provide some more information (travel ins. emergency contact etc) which I have already done? Not been on a cruise with Marella since before covid. It seems I have to also complete a covid survey 3 days before sailing before I can print off boarding passes.

I thought that your cards were waiting for you in the cabin? Do you therefore have to retrieve them from your cabin before going to the muster station?

Many thanks for your quick reply. Looks very similar to what we had on P&O last November except we could watch the video in our cabin but had to register at muster station as soon as we were on board.

We are due to fly to Palma on 18th April and have just received our e-ticket with quite a lot of information but can find nothing about what happens about muster guidelines. We have not sailed with Marella since covid so not sure what the procedure is now? On P&O you have to watch a video on the TV and register at the muster station. Can someone inform me the procedure on Marella please? Many thanks.

Still unable to book excursions for our cruise on 18 April. Been checking every day and still saying "coming soon". but can book speciality restaurants.

I bought the same ones from Amazon and have used them for all our cruises but never for a fly cruise which we will be doing in April. Think I will do as you did and attach them when we retrieve our luggage from the carousel in Palma. Roll on spring!!!

I second that!!!! Would be wonderful to cruise from Hull and get Doncaster airport back as well.

Just one question. Do you attach your luggage label to your suitcase before flying out or wait until you retrieve it at Palma and attach before taking to the transfer coach? We have booked specific cabins.

I am still waiting for the excursions to be released for our cruise in April. Have paid the balance which was due 24th January but still showing that they are "coming soon". Will keep checking.
