Flossie thanks so much for your reviews about your land tour. I enjoyed reading it. We too are from the UK so I wondered when you arrived in Tokyo did you manage to get an early check in at the hotel and also did you take your Covid Test before you left home? I know it's supposed to be 72hrs before you embark on Explorer. I'm trying to work out when to take ours with the overnight flight. Hope you can help me out, thanks in advance Marcia

What normally happens when you arrive very early in the morning & Regent have booked your overnight hotel before boarding.? Does Regent organise early check ins or is the best thing to email the hotel personally? Marcy

Thank you so much for the really impressive review. Especially of interest to me as we will be taking our first Regent cruise(Splendor) around Spain in October & hopefully Explorer to Japan Oct 2023. Our 3rd attempt! Your review has made me even more excited. My family started cruising back in the 1950’s when I was under 10. Not a big choice of cruise lines here in Europe. We sailed on Greek lines & P & O back then. Our cabins were below sea levels I think. I know it was very rough in The Bay of Biscay. There were always fancy dress evening near the end of the cruises. They were great fun & very popular. It seems a very very long time ago now

I am trying to book the 3 speciality restaurants on Splendor this morning as we are Concierge Class but its only allowing me to book each once. Is that correct? We've not cruised on Regent before so unsure about the system Marcia

I am allowed to make our reservations today for our Glories of Spain Cruise in October. The system is only allowing me to make 1 reservation at each and I want to book two nights at each. Is that normal? I've not cruised with Regent before. Any help would be appreciated Marcia

Did ships used to have shuttles from the port? I am sailing on Regent Splendor. Just want to mooch around on our own Marcia

We will be on a Regent Tokyo toTokyo cruise Oct 23, hopefully. We are docking in Kobe & I can’t make up my mind whether to stay in Kobe on our half day or take a ship’s tour to Osaka. On our full day we will travel to Kyoto. Can any previous cruisers help me with advice? Would be very grateful. thanks in advance Marcia
