The message below was received from Silver Sea today in respect to our cruise that departs in two weeks. I'm unclear as to the difference in requirements between fully vaccinated guests and guests who are up to date with their Covid vaccines. It may just be me, but I find this messaging to be muddled. Does anyone out there speak Silverease and can you translate for me? Thanks.
PRE-EMBARKATION TESTING REQUIREMENTS Fully Vaccinated Guest Testing Requirements
Most Northern European countries require that all embarking fully vaccinated guests must hold proof of a valid Antigen or PCR negative test result performed within 48 hours of embarkation.
The test may be administered by a verified third party, either a laboratory or pharmacy, OR
A self-test at home, verified by a third party.
The Certificate must contain your clients name (as shown on the cruise ticket), as well as the date of test, and result. Your client must provide a digital or printed proof upon embarkation.
If your clients are up to date with your Covid-19 vaccines, they must hold proof of a valid Antigen or PCR negative test result performed within 72 hours of embarkation.
The test may be administered by a verified third party, either a laboratory or pharmacy OR
A self-test at home, verified by a third party.
The Certificate must contain your clients name (as shown on the cruise ticket), as well as the date of test, and result. Your client must provide a digital or printed proof upon embarkation.
