No we didn't book on day one, but still fairly early. Once we cancelled, lost our deposit, rebooked the same cabin and saved over £400. Next time it dropped £800 the day after we paid the balance. The latest cruise we booked 3 months ago, that was after a price drop and got more OBC. I don't book early any more.
There are a few places, but our roaming still works. Last cruise was on Celebtity and WiFi was includes. It was better using our roaming than their WiFi.
We don't book early any more after getting conned twice. We book a few months before the sail date. If prices don't drop to a reasonable level...we'll, plenty of alternatives.
We have been to Toulon a few times, but only recently discovered to mini train and the beaches. Brilliant find. This next cruuse we are due to visit Marseilles. As we haven't been before, fingers crossed.
I don't like spending money, but DW does, so she pays for everything. I rarely carry cards. All comes out of the same account, but our procedure keeps us happy.
Seems to me that being a carnivore sets you up for ridicule from non carnivore. You will find that carnivores posts are in reaction to Vegan posts. Just saying, as they can bash all they like.
We didn't start cruising untill 2000. Island escape started. Informal. No faff. Not stuck up. That'll do. Gin and It on the Captains table...if you were very lucky never did appeal.
We are of on Arvia soon. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Many are casual and informal, which we enjoy. I don't think We will stop sailing with P&O because the food is too formal, casual etc. Apparently there are plenty of green beans, so Vegans won't go hungry.
Many up market restaurants have reduced choice and increased prices. We used to get ice cream included, but now need to buy as an extra. We still go to the Harvester though. We could go even more upmarket, but the roof collapsed in the beefeater....don't start me off about the Wimpy.🍔🍟
A bit like cheese wheels. Banished to ancient history. We have a table cloth. It comes out at Christmas in case any elderly relatives pop round for an advocat.
