  1. The $7600 that I booked last night also included ALL gratuities. The dining, drink package and the pre- paid gratuities plus all fare, taxes, etc
  2. Yes almighty, you are very powerful. I've done nothing to “take a room” from anyone. All I’m doing is delaying the final payment on the room I am going to book. And your point is even sillier because there a tons of the category available. if you have nothing to contribute here, please move on.
  3. Interesting. Yes the Med cruises seem lower. This is the Iceland/ Norway sailing of which there are only a handful so it has been considerably higher than a Med or Caribbean cruise do some time.
  4. This makes no sense. I’m holding 1 room at a time. I plan on booking the room, I’m just trying to delay final payment. So how is that inconsiderate? I book it, delay payment 24 hrs, extend it one day then I cancel it and rebook it. Never at any point am I holding two rooms for one couple. So perhaps you can be outraged elsewhere.
  5. It’s pretty close to that, that’s why I’m considering it.
  6. It seems like a very good price to me too.
  7. Yes within final that’s why I have been holding for 24 hrs cancelling, booking again. I remember being super annoyed with NCL years ago with significant price drops after final. I was just wondering if people felt like that was kind of the lowest Haven will go for 11 nt cruise.
  8. Well if we all went into the one Haven penthouse it would be like $9000. This $7600 was for 2 people (and we’d eq h get our own HE suite) the balcony cabins are in the $5000-6000 vicinity.
  9. Hi! I’ve been away from nCL for a long time (after Covid, we’ve been doing Virgin Voyages and more land vacations). In years past, we did Haven twice- once for a Med cruise on NCL Jade and once from NY on Breakaway. taking my turning 80 years old parents this year on 11 nt Iceland/Norway cruise on Prima. have seen prices drop over past few weeks (been playing the Hold, cancel, hold, cancel game). it is now down to $7600 penthouse HE all in pricing (taxes, gratuities). Thoughts on the pricing? Would you think it’ll go down further or is that sort of the low end of what they’ll sell Haven for? and what’s the reviews on Prima Haven? I know Haven will be lovely, another reason I want to book is is Dad has mobility issues (can’t walk too long) so I figured haven would also be helpful with that (priority disembark, etc)
  10. Yes, lots of groups monopolizing the areas. Too many people at once. Towels all over the floors everywhere. No nice changing area with typical spa amenities like nice lotion, etc. No main area with things like juices, teas, fruit, relaxation zone. The rooms smelled moldy and dirty. The mud room in particular smelled nasty like the whole place needed a deep bleaching clean. The salt room wall to wall with people talking loudly and the salt room had same gross moldy smell.
  11. We had terrible wifi on our 5 nt to Cozumel three weeks ago. Very slow, often wouldn’t connect at all. And this is with the premium service. I’m really glad I used time off and didn’t plan to work on that trip. Too unreliable.
  12. Because if the air is off, and you are outside for an hour, then the cabin has gotten uncomfortable while outside and you have to wait again until it gets to a lower temperature. Found this to be annoying.
  13. Yes, ha! I can assure you, anything I order (especially a salad bar salad) has WAY more modifications than that. High maintenance eater.
  14. I found it fine for initial bookings. Got everything we wanted once connected to ship Wifi on both cruises. It seemed easier on 1/2 full Valiant to walk up or find a new time for dining real time. It seemed a lot harder this time if you wanted to change dining day of.
  15. If you know exactly what you want and you aren’t a “customization” person, it’s fine. The example of the salad bar is perfect though- I’m not going to memorize all the ingredients I want/don’t want, repeat that to a server and then hope it’s the way I want it.
  16. Scarlet was almost full on 11/5. We sailed 1/2 full on Valiant last year. Didn’t feel any substantial difference. Other than ease of getting/changing dining reservations. It holds capacity well
  17. See my thoughts following each of yours in bold for others to get a second opinion. We sailed Nov 5. (And last NYE on Valiant)
  18. I HATE the server concept and I’m glad it’s gone. We greatly prefer going up to the various counters, seeing what’s there and placing any customizations right with that window. Walking around, having to remember where you wanted a little of this as a little of that, then telling it to a server was a pain. Glad it changed!!!
  19. I don’t know what “messy” means. It’s a bracelet. Have them put it on so loose that you can take it in and off. Mostly useless as the perks are connected to your account. Never needed to show it for anything.
  20. We had only done it once before and it was breeze. That parking lot was completely full two weeks ago. And they did a terrible job getting people out/paid.
  21. Not true. You can do it before the safety video. In fact, while on line for deep blue extras last week, right around 1:30pm, in the terminal, I was blue to connect to the ships wifi and do it all. And after boarding as well.
  22. Possibly. We arrived at noon two weeks ago on a Sunday departure and it was very, very crowded already. Had to go up a few levels. another warning- it took us. 45 minutes to exit the parking lot at around 10:30ish. The line of cars was so long!
  23. I would highly doubt they’d do such an elaborate special menu
