  1. We sent 8 (Cunard) postcards from the QM a couple of months ago on the way to NY. Paid $16 and returned them to the Pursar's desk for 'posting'. They never arrived 😞
  2. None either. However, you can 'use' the dance instructors - though they will charge.
  3. +1 for CPS. Near and easy; brilliant staff. Worth every penny.
  4. We have just returned on the QM2 two-way transatlantic. It was brilliant. I had read negative reviews, but should have just kept an open mind. Perfect, not, but as good as... and life is too short to get too concerned. If something is wrong, bring it up so it can be resolved there and then. The stateroom was great, lots of storage space etc., a fridge was a bonus, lovely food everywhere, superb, friendly and very courteous staff, an amazing Steward, Afternoon Tea, a varierty of entertainments, super facilities, and the list goes on... Also amazing value for money I think, if you reflect on what you get. I especially enjoyed the lectures and the Cunard Radio! ( No ads, chat, news - bliss. ) And the sea views! ( The only negative was the lack of taxies in the Taxi Queue at NY. We waited an hour. Others I discovered used Uber - top tip! Perhaps it's not a natural location for 'passing trade'. ) The QM2 really is a stunning ocean liner. We had some 'weather' but it really was very stable. 9.9 out of 10.
  5. ... I think having the same staff every day is so important, certainly for dinner in the evening. Building mutual relationships makes their job easier I would think and more enjoyable and satisfying. I like to get to 'know' the staff too!
  6. Clothes and 'Porters!. Can I ask, please, as I cannot remember... ( Did a quick search. ) For men's suits, do you keep them on a hanger and put them in a suit bag, such that they can be transported on a rail, at arrival as many hotels do? Would you include shirts, or instead, pack them rolled? Any guidance MUCH appreciated!

    Clothes Question

Dettol laundry spray is good! e.g. Here
  8. We tip... our Steward and Waitor(s) $100 a week. We are always polite, grateful and respectful of all they do.
  9. Is anyone using Halo Antigen Self tests? We use them at home but did anyone use one as their embarkation test? Halo Tests can be sent to a laboratory as well.
