  1. Hi Earl!Yes, I read that! It's one of the reasons I want to go! I've been working my way thru all of her Brunetti books. [emoji3] Sent from my SM-G930V using Forums mobile app
  2. Oooh can't wait! Bought our tickets this weekend!! Thanks Barb! Sent from my SM-G930V using Forums mobile app
  3. Thanks Barb! I think I'll download that book!
  4. This part is what makes me think its the best option! Thank you for the visual!
  5. I read recently that part of the reason they banned it for a short time (or tried to) is that people dragging their wheeled bags were chipping up the cobblestones and the stone on the bridges.
  6. There are some old threads on here that I was able to search regarding seeing an opera at La Fenice, but I'm hoping for more current info. Has anyone gone recently? The Barber of Seville is playing when we're there in late October. If I purchase tickets I think I'll do it directly on the La Fenice website. Here's the open seating chart - I'd love to not quite break the bank - what do you think about seating? Those ones on the sides - is there any good view from those? Or should we just spring for the pricey seats? http://fenice.tm.bestunion.com/biglietteria/listaEventiPub.do?codice=barbiere&data=20181030&lingua=eng Thanks!
  7. I'm resurrecting an old thread here! We are going to be in Venice for 5 nights at the end of October and Rossini's The Barber of Seville is running at La Fenice. We were considering buying tickets and now I think you've all convinced me! I'll have to return to the site to see what seats are available!
  8. Thanks for all of your replies! I didn't even think about the newer kindle fires - I have a much older one, maybe first gen. But the 10" ones look good.
  9. Hello! I'm looking for recommendations for a small, light travel laptop for use in Europe. I'd be primarily using it to stream tv and surf the web, social media, etc. I'd definately like to keep it under $400-$500. Any suggestions?
