I found a gold wedding band at the Natural Pool in Aruba 4/27/17. Carnival Vista was in port that day and I'd like to get it back to the rightful owner.

I'm curious about this tour. Do they set you up with a guide? We have no interest in going to the natural pool, but would like to venture around. We've done jeep tours through ABC and Depalm.
Yep, you have a private tour guide. They can take you to the bottom of the cliff so you don't have to climb all the steps to the Natural Pool but you can pick wherever you want to go. It's not cheap.

Aroundaruba has a new hard top jacked up jeep and they will set you up with a private tour, Bully can't take you where they can.

Taxi or rental car, it's about 15 miles or 30 minutes from port. Great place for the little ones. The taxi's in Aruba take a max of 5 passengers and it is a fixed price.

As of 6 months ago, never seen Fofoti at the Natural Pool, only ABC.

Personally I would rather go to the Natural Pool than the caves but ABC is a good group.

You are not overthinking, the sun will fry you and fast. Aruba is close to the equator and the UV factor is extremely high.

I've never heard of them but have seen that blue bus they have posted on their website. The tour sounds like you'll see a lot of the sites on the island and the price is very reasonable. Sounds like fun

Just be advised that a lot of places give you change back in Florins. Also Discover has no foreign transaction fee. We use our Discover card, most places accept it.

I love and really look forward/trust the reviews on CC. We will be in Aruba overnight in March. I'd love a simple restaurant close to port. Is Iguana Joe's a good place to just sit, talk, have a local beer and watch the water/sunset. We aren't looking for foo foo because we're on a cruise ship, but are looking forward to fresh fish and local beer. Our son is a veggie and I've looked at the menu. I'm just asking for a plus from CC members that this is a good laid back, fun place. By the end of our first day we won't want to be far from the ship. Thank you for any help.
I'm thinking the couple buildings across the street and your ship will block the sunset but it is very close to your ship.

Arashi Beach. Is it hard to get a cab back to the port from? We will be there on a Sunday. Is the snorkeling easily reached from the beach?
Snorkeling is easily reached from the beach, it starts at 20' out. Head south towards Boca Catilina. I can't help you on the taxi part but if the concession stand is open Sunday, they'll call one for you if you ask nicely.

Ling and Sons would be the closest to the port, about two miles. You need to take a taxi. They always have a sale, they had big wheels for 50 florins which would be about $30 US, this was in October.

Do the trikes and see Aruba, jet skis are $65 a half hour. Try to catch a sunset. A taxi to Palm Beach should take 5 minutes, 10 if he drives slow. You have the Paseo Herencia Mall and next door to the east is the Palm Beach Plaza Mall, the stores stay open late.

If you are flying to the US allow 3 hours at the time and day you are flying, it's prime time. Aroundaruba does private tours and you could arrange the tour to drop you off at AUA after.

Aruba Golf Club is closed and from the looks of it, it's been closed a long time. The only options are Divi Links and Tierra Del Sol, its expensive and a little sun burnt but the grounds hard so you get a lot of roll.

Yum!! I wish I was there right now! We have a long wait until we are back on the island. Have you tried the Pastechi House downtown? Weve been meaning too. My favorite ones are the fresh ones at Bright Bakery. Oh wait, I see Bright written on your pastechi.
Haven't been to Pastechi House but tried Don Pastechi, they were ok but we're spoiled after having Bright and they now stamp theirs with their name. We also love the Gouda cheese, we brought 10 mini 400 gram wheels back, we load up when Super Foods has a sale. We go back in 74 days.
