  1. Many insurances will override their max limits if you contact them and explain the extenuating circumstances.
  2. Especially when it is a venue that doesn't have a similar area elsewhere on the ship.
  3. Well I disagree about it not being a big deal. One cruise on Allure in the afternoon of a nice sea day, they throw everyone out of the Solarium for a private party for one of the groups that were aboard. It was a big inconvenience to a lot of people.
  4. Who said anything about free? And as I've said before, spend your money on whatever you please and I'll do the same. If I don't see the value I'll happily keep my money in my bank. Very simple concept.
  5. Do you? I don't as I don't go into any shop in the first place that is charging that much for a milkshake.
  6. There should be no assumption that a new booking is going to the same place as the last. It should be an active process not a passive default. What right does RCI have to cause this binding relationship without consent?
  7. Why does the cruise line have the right to form an agent relationship with the customer, who did not authorize it, on a new booking? The agent didn't even lift a finger to create the booking.
  8. No one is telling you not to spend your money as you please. No need for you to justify for the rest of us why we should spend in the same manner.
  9. No one can tell you what you should do. You know your son and where he falls on the spectrum far better than any of us can comprehend. I am versed in autism and appreciate your challenges. Understand that RCI's different classes of ships have different amenities and provide different cruise experiences. Maybe the larger ships are not the best choice for your family. There are a lot of people and the environment can be quite "stimulating" as compared to the smaller ships. Only you can decide what will be better for your son. Symphony is a popular ship for families so you should anticipate lines at the attractions. If you are fortunate to encounter slower times when there is little wait time then great. However, you should probably prepare for the worst case scenario and be pleasantly surprised if you encounter better.
  10. I understand your situation. By unfortunate I guess I just wish you, and everyone, could have grown up in the same sort of family environment that I did. I take care of plenty of kids who have had to endure toxic families. I do the best I can to try to help and be a positive influence.
