  1. I especially like the second one. Note especially that the letter should stat the exemption is only valid for a single trip. Roy
  2. Just in time for the edit window. I worked my career with our national retirement system and learned that through common law (which I think is based on England) that a person attains an age on the day before their birthday. Roy
  3. Thank you for the Hump Day report, Rich. I LOVE mincemeat, like my horseless carriage, and salute the deployed. Einstein is spot on. I have not been to Phu My. I think I'll pass on the taco. My alternative is Minted Melon and Raspberry Soup, Red Curry Coconut Chicken, and Strawberry Crisp as served on MS Amsterdam October 26, 2017: I did not add Graham to the care list but did not like the sound of the technician nodding when he asked if his X-Ray looked bad. 6. Today's sunrise is the last from a 2019 QM2 crossing leading up to a river cruise on Crystal Bach and return to Miami involving both of Crystal's ocean ships. On October 25 I disembarked in Southampton for a couple days in London. Roy

  9. Thank you for the Tuesday Fleet Report and Daily, Rich. Not sure if International Artist Day is a celebration of International Artists or an International celebration of artists but either way is good. I'll pass on howling at the moon. I was thinking more of clothing and hair cuts for Punk for a Day. I love the Crocker quote. I was in Ashdod just once on the Crystal Serenity in 2010. I'll pass on the meal. My alternative is Fruit Ceviche, Salisbury Steak, and Mango Crisp as served on MS Amsterdam October 25, 2017: Today’s care list: Cruisin single’s step son with double cancer Vict0rian’s cousin in final stages of ALS Cruisin Terri getting EMG Luvteaching DH recovering from fall and facing dimentia Marshhawk’s friend Sheri back in hospital after multiple falls Quaartzite Cruiser DH second surgery and rehab Marshhawk and DH struggling with smoking Grapau27 with hip x=ray tommorow (but before the Wednesday Daily comes out From the rotation: Cruisin Terri leak damage Sandi’s neighbor Linda Cruising-along niece awaiting a kidney HAL Sailer Sister in Law with aggressive cancer therapy Celebrations and Shoutouts: Happy Anniversary segarsmoker Cograts Mishi Sunak A new Ellie photo Nieuw Amsterdam in Everglades New AC for Mister67 Aliaschief off for a river cruise Bon Voyage Norseh20 (Sirena to 11/18) Welcome home (or to quarantine) HAL4NOW Welcome home Ancient Wanderer Dismomx5 (Rotterdam to 10/27) ,Cruisin Single (American Star to 10/30), and Av8rix (Rotterdam to 10/30) . 14. Thank you for the Monday report, Rich. I never heard of Diwali before today but will gladly celebrate it. I like bologna but will rarely eat it but celebrate the United Nations. Interesting quote by Wilde. I have not been to Darwin and would prefer my chicken without the dijon. My alternative is Chilled Kiwi and Melon Fruit, Irish Stew, and Apple and Pear Crisp which is what I would have enjoyed on MS Amsterdam October 24, 2017 if I had not been on a long tour in Beijing. 15. @Quartzsite Cruiser prayers for you, DH, and his medical team today. Are you on Central Time or Mountain time? Roy
  16. Welcome to the Fleet Report and Daily, and thank you for that confirmation. I have visited Cape Liberty and know first time it can only handle one ship with Celebrity beyond there the 26th and Adventure OTS the 27th, so it could certainly not handle the Rotterdam. All 3 terminals do occasionally handle unexpected ships. Brooklyn could easily be a candidate for the Pinnacle ships which are probably long enough to stick out into the Hudson and it might be used if it was not such a historic cruise. There is nothing like that sail up the Hudson. I miss it when I board QM2. Are you getting off in New York? Roy
  17. That definitely does not sound like an appropriate Christian funeral, I am left wondering how such a wonderful person as Fran ended up there, and I strongly doubt it is what she wanted. I'm sorry your Synagogue colleagues were exposed to that, and I hope you start to feel better soon. Roy
  18. Today's sunrise is from my 2017 MS Amsterdam Grand Asia segment. October 23 was our final sea day before arriving in Tianjin/Beijing: Roy

  20. Thank you for the Sunday report, Rich. Not much on any of those days although there are some really good Mother-In-Laws. I love the Tolkien quote but have not been to today's port. I'll pass on the meal. My alternative is Chilled Grape and Cranberry Soup, Ribeye Steak and Cherry Sundae, as served on MS Amsterdam October 23, 2017. I got engrossed in the meal and forgot to take a photo that day.
