  1. Thank you Rich for the Saturday report. I'll pass on both the Catfish and the Bartenders but log cabins have a great place in our history. I don't think I've been to Guaymas. I'm not a fan of sloppy joe but turkey sounds like the best choice to put in it. My alternative menu suggestion is Fruit Salad with Yogurt and Honey, and Turkey Roast with Giblet Gravy and Cranberry as served on MS Prinsendam May 26, 2015. 2. I've used and enjoyed it but I think it's very high in sodium. Roy
  3. Wouldn't it be a sad world if we all liked the same things. Roy

  7. I normally try to stay pretty modest on my diet but yesterday was the big exception. Roy
  8. I also heard on the news today that BA workers have called for a strike this summer. Have you heard anything about that? Roy
  9. Thank you for the TGIF report, Rich. No dog and not really work to take one to anyway. Fairies are a myth with a great history. Interesting that there's a food truck day. Many Methodist related churches are using "Food Truck Party" as their theme for Vacation Bible School this year. Love the Chamfort quote. I know I've been to Alter Do Chao on the Prinsendam. Will pass on the fish head curry. My alternative is Chilled Lingonberry Soup and Prime Rib of Beef au Jus as served on MS Prinsendam May 25, 2015. 10. Please refresh my memory on why you will be at the airport. Thank you Roy
  11. It's New England and Canada. July 3: Bar Harbor July 4: Boston till after midnight July 6: Halifax July 8: New York It's part of a string of cruises that starts with a TA from Southampton and returns to Southampton when I get off. I'll at least do a thread on the Cunard forum. Roy
  12. It will be on the Cunard Forum. I have many days (mostly transatlantics) on QM2 and love it. This cruise, however is pretty close to free as I was booked Sydney to New York in March-April 2020 (guess how that turned out) and this will be using credits from that cancelled trip. Roy
  13. A couple of new developments for me. We discussed Luggage Forward a while ago. Yesterday I dropped off my bag for my July 1 QM2 cruise at the UPS store.(I get my mail there anyway and it is easier for me than planning to be home for the pickup), It has already been delivered to their agent's office in Brooklyn so they are VERY conservative in getting bags to the port on time. Yesterday evening I had a voicemail from the Baltimore Symphony with advance notice that one of the concert series I'm subscribed to has been cancelled for the upcoming season. Apparently, this is a very recent development and I will need to make some painful adjustments there. Roy
  14. @Vict0riann I would suggest a PCR test as it's generally more reliable than the antigen test. I THINK the exception is after an infection where the PCR test can stay positive for quite a while while an antigen test goes back to negative right away. Roy
  15. But the blocker is getting close. NCL ship is the Jewel, rather than the Pearl. Roy
  16. Sightings will be fairly brief. Eclipse is passing Thane. Roy
  17. Is it today or sometime on your current cruise? Roy
  18. Another rainy day here in Maryland and I am posting a sunset from June 17 taken behind our local middle school: Roy
