Interestingly, for other reasons, I have just received a revised booking confirmation letter for our cruise at the end of June. It still shows the Iona docking at Gerainger, arriving at 9.00 am and leaving at 17.00pm. The day (29th June) starts with a stop at 6.30 am at Hellesylt, leaving at 07.15 am. The day then ends with a visit to Geirangerfjord scheduled for 17.30 - 18.30 and then cruise-bys from 18.30 - 20.30 of Sunnylvsfjorden and Sorfjorden. If we are not docking at Gerainger why are they still sending out false information?

We are sailing on the Iona at the end of June and I think I'm pretty much aware of what is included in the price as per the information on the website. Are there any other 'includes' that haven't been mentioned and that I should be aware of? Thanks in advance.

Rightly or wrongly Carnival has a reputation for their ships to be 'fun ships' and, again rightly or wrongly, on this basis we have avoided booking with them. However, they are showing some fantastic prices for the Pride out of Dover and I'm wondering whether I may be cutting my nose off to spite my face. Anyone sailed with them and what was it like?

Yes I am aware of this but these are the only dates we have.

To be honest I'm just browsing at the moment. Dates are end of June to early September. If we can find a cruise within our budget we'll grab it but looking at multiple cruise lines.

Obviously I can't mention the travel agent but I must admit that the price difference took me by surprise . Haven't checked any other agents or direct. Maybe I should just in case the original price is wrong.

I'm looking at a cruise to the Norwegian Fjords and the price for a balcony is quoted at £763 pp which is reasonable. I then looked at the price for the Yacht Club and it's £2,026 pp. Is the Club really worth such a huge price differential? I can't imagine that it is and I won't be booking at that price.

Best before or after a cruise? Things I need to take into consideration when choosing?
