Thanks for the HAL Fleet report and the Daily. Noordam is berthed in Auckland today (24th) after visiting the Bay of Islands yesterday. Will read all the posts later. @St Louis Cruiser so sorry to read about your DGD, very traumatic experience, thankfully she was not injured.

The fog cleared for a few hours this afternoon, but has returned. @kazu and @1ANGELCAT sincere sympathy to you both for your losses. @bennybear Like you, our first cruise was to Alaska for a week to see if we liked cruising, after the long flight to Vancouver, we decided yes, thanks to the beautiful Volendam and Alaska. One evening we had dinner in the Lido, Captain Visser sat at the next table and talked with us. We also had the pleasure of sailing with him on his last cruise, he was piped ashore at Sydney, then he and his wife stood at the Opera House waving, as we sailed by, with lots of tooting from the ship. it was quite an emotional sail out from Sydney. Christmas Eve tomorrow. Good night to all.
