On the Royal Albatross webcam, just watched the Noordam departing the Otago Harbour. Pilot will stay on board for the visit to Fiordland tomorrow.

@StLouisCruisers that is a job for DH, to wind them onto a "Drum".

@marshhawk they are Christmas Lights, 1500 multi coloured LED bud lights. Hope that you will be able to do a Panama Canal voyage on a HAL ship, we thoroughly enjoyed that cruising experience. It was worth the long flights to experience the Canal.

What time of day did the water pipe burst,? Were you the only affected property? Were you able to leave your property for your daily walk? Yesterday DH bought solar powered outdoor lights 75 metres in lenght to replace our old lights. We spent a long time trying to unwind the lights as someone had gone to a lot of trouble to tie them in knots to pack in their box! The lights worked beautifuuly last night. Well that's strange, this post and the two above from Roy and Ruth are all post number101 Now they are correctly numbered 112, 113 and 114

Thanks for all the daily information, humour and port photos. On this first day of summer we have mostly cloudy weather, occasional sunshine. Needed a jacket when I went for a walk earlier. @superoma hope that your friend Dena promptly recieves the appropriate treatment. @dfish am pleased that your CT scan has now been read. @cruising sister thank you for sharing the photos of dear little Murphy. @marshhawk am concerned that it takes so long for you to recieve the oxygen. @rafinmd safe travels home. Must return to decorating the Christmas tree, some adjusting of ornaments is required.!
