  1. We have gone out with Jayleen numerous times. She is our "go to" independent vendor whenever we are going to whale watch in Juneau.
  2. @Coral, I just made reservations for the Butchart Gardens using the link that you provided. We are really looking forward to the experience. We have been to Victoria a few times but, as you know, not many cruises offer a long port stop for this place. Finally, we get to go to the gardens. Thanks again for the suggestion.
  3. @Coral, the "Apogee" is fairly new. We have always gone out with Shawn in the smaller boat. I do hope to post a small review and some pictures when we return. It won't be a "live" like you did. I am not as talented as you are. You really did a great job of answering everyone's questions, posting pictures and links. Thank you for that.
  4. @Coral, I am so happy to hear that you had a great trip with Glacier Wind. We are very anxious to try out the new boat and look forward to seeing our friends at Glacier Wind in July. Your pictures are great; I especially love the bubble net feeding. We are keeping our fingers crossed in hopes that we might experience some bubble net feeding on our trip.
  5. @disneybabe, Glad you made it home without any major issues. My husband lost his license at the Seattle Airport on his way to a business trip (fell into the track of the monorail going through the terminal.) Anyway, for ID he used the back of his Costco card since it had his picture. It worked and before he returned from his business trip I was able to get his license back from Seattle Airport security.
  6. Sorry, I misread your post, hope you find the person you are looking for.
  7. @Jeter02, we tried that method when we were on the Discovery Princess in February. We purchased one FCD for my husband and one for me. Unfortunately for us, when we returned home we found out that the system only gave us one FCD and not two. Somehow, the system didn't do its job. We didn't have a internet package so we had no way of verifying it through emails otherwise we would have known that something was wrong. The next month when we were on the same ship we filled out the form and hand delivered it to the Future Cruise Sales rep (they were not busy so no biggie for us).
  8. Thank you, I will definitely check out the website.
  9. I did some digging and found a Maria Horton Miller with Alaska Taxi and Tours on a website link -- there is even a picture of her -- does the name sound about right? If you want the link I can send it to you directly, just let me know.
  10. Although Military Benefits are automatically applied with the booking if earned, make sure to keep an eye on your booking to ensure that it is applied. A couple of years ago we had to resubmit my husband's paperwork to get the credit. I know we were not the only ones this happened to based on other remarks I had seen on the board. Could just have been a fluke --- who knows.
  11. I just used my shareholder OBC to help pay for one of our excursions that we will be doing in 2024.
  12. Standard lingo from Princess. Like I said, mine came the next day and that has been the way for the last 3 of my requests. Wish you luck, hope you get a quick resolution.
  13. Perhaps try sending in another request? If it were me, I would.
  14. Like others have suggested, check your Travel Summary. Travel Summary is how I found out my OBC was credited. I did not receive a notice from Princess when it was given to me.
  15. Did Princess send you an email acknowledging that they had received your request? If not, perhaps you sent it to the wrong place??
  16. @CRUSINGFAMILY, this might be a long shot -- how was payment made to the driver? If a credit card was used perhaps you can look at the credit card statement for that charge and work back from that. My cc company keeps statements on file for a few years which works out well should I have to refer back to one of them.
  17. I just sent my form into Princess for a cruise that we are taking in May of 2024. Our OBC was put into our account on Monday (1 day after being sent.)
  18. We decided to do the Princess transfer bus trip from Vancouver to Seattle during the COVID-ArriveCan days because we thought it would be easier -- not. Anyway, our bus did have a restroom; however, it was not operational. When we stopped at the border a few of us made a quick stop there. Our driver did stop at a rest facility shortly after we left the border. Unfortunately, our journey was long as we encountered construction traffic on the freeway going into Seattle as well as an accident backing up traffic. Some of the bus passengers were getting a little antsy to use a restroom. Your 5-6 hour transport time sounds about right. All I know is I was glad that we were not catching a flight that day. We had opted to spend the night in Seattle and take an early flight out the next morning --- less stressful for sure.
  19. Service is quick. Sent ours in on Sunday evening and it was in our OBC on Monday.
  20. @Coral, Safe travels home. What time did you disembark? What is your flight time out of YVR? If in the afternoon, were you able to check your bags early? Or, did you have to wait for a bit at the airport to do so? Work already? Aren't you closing for end of the semester?
  21. @Coral, I am so happy that you were able to journey back to Alaska again --- it was about time, right? I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all your wonderful pictures and hearing about your excursions. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.
  22. @Coral, beautiful pictures. We have never been to the gardens. You did the ship's excursion, right? If so, did you have enough time at the gardens to take everything in? **Oops, it looks like you were posting at the same time as I was asking. Found the answers in your post.
  23. @lobsternight, thank you for sharing your early season experience, I appreciate it. Glad to hear you had a great cruise.
