  1. Our 50th anniversary will be June 26,2021 so plan to take both single adult daughters on a European cruise so looking forward to the release of those itineraries so we can make a decision. DH and I have already done several. We took them on the Baltic cruise for our 40th!
  2. Didn’t know about the free steaming. I could have used that on my black dress!
  3. Would love to be able to take some longer trips in the future or possibly move from ship to ship.
  4. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts of your Alaska cruise. It sounds like you made a good choice in ships and itineraries. Hopefully you will have many more cruises in your future.
  5. We arrive in Papeete by plane after 7:00pm so booked a one night stay at a local B&B after reading reviews. We willthen be staying two nights in Morrea pre cruise in an overwater bungalow at the Manava resort. Would you recommend renting a car one day to go,around the island or just enjoy the resort? Also, either prior to taking the ferry to Moorea or upon our return to Papeete before boarding cruise ship, do you recommend a tour of the island or would we be too rushed? We will be in Bora Bora two days and booked a tour with Patrick's for the first day so looking for suggestions for day two.
  6. I totally agree that those of us who are able to cruise are truly fortunate.
  7. We had very slow service in the Pinnacle grill for breakfast and there was only one other table occupied at the time, thus we never returned. As far as seating in the MDR, we were all but once given window tables.
  8. In July Inwas in a Neptune suite on the Oosterdam and we could either have breakfast in the Pinnacle grill, Club Orange in MDR or just have room service, Lido. We actually utilized all options over the course of our week.
  9. I am hoping we haven't made an error in sailing on the Maasdam from Papeete to San Diego. I am going three nights early and spending one night in Papeete and 2 nights in Moorea.
  10. Will be on the Maasdam in March 2020 and have booked a tour with Patrick's while we are in Bora Bora with other Roll Call members.
  11. We actually had open seating this trip as we booked the cruise in late April. On the first night we were seated at a window booth area and following dinner I requested the same table for the remainder of our trip. We ended up with 7:45pm seating there but ate one night each at the PG and Cannelato.
  12. As far as the totes are concerned, we received the new bags with a zipper as did my brother who was in an aft balcony (not a Neptune suite). We had upgraded robes in our suite which were not much different from what I recall having in a regular balcony in the past.
  13. We could either eat breakfast in the Pinnacle Grill or we could eat in the MDR and stood in a special line and got priority seating and special menu. We were offered free mimosas in both places. We had the same line for other meals and again there was a special of the day for Club Orange (NS) guests.
  14. Just got off the Oosterdam Sunday and were in 5190 which we loved. There were three of us and we received 2 large bottles of regular water, one bottle of both sparkling water and wine upon embarking. We made good use of the new coffee/espresso machine in the room.
