  1. I have 2 FCC certificates. I had booked the cruises through my travel agent, who has now left that company. When I rebook using my FCC , do I have to use that original company or do I own the FCC and can use it through Royal ?

As we understand it, you can take a cruise from San Juan but there are no day visits or port stops at this time

We just stopped in San Juan on Feb 13 while on board Anthem of the Seas. Not much has changed as we could walk off and explore on our own or book excursions.

We just stopped in San Juan last month while aboard Anthem of the Seas.

previous stops. We could walk around ourselves or book excursions.

I'm not quite sure I follow. Did you disregard the vaccination info because you have sailed before and that they would keep it on file? Also, what's the problem with FCC? Couldn't you jut rebook?

No not at all. I checked my cruise planner, had already filled out the vaccination attestation and got the GREEN check mark.
I will try calling again today and get it straightened out. Some of these cruise lines IT departments are lacking.

  5. We sailed on carnival in October 2020, completely vaccinated. I booked a carnival cruise for April. I just got email saying my cruise is cancelled for not being totally vaccinated!!!! Do they think I got unvaccinated??? I tried calling but I got a recording saying “ due to an unusually high volume of calls, we are unable to take your call. Please call at another time”

    Suggestions?? Would they refund my

money?  It’s paid in full !  I certainly don’t want FCC.  Wow! Stunned!!!

My husband and I are onboard Enchantment now (Dec 31-Jan 8).

Boarding for us was great but we had the earliest 11am appt time and boarded using the appropriate Suites/ Pinnacles line.  There was a long line forming outside when we arrived at 10:45 but in sticking with its established guidance, RC did not allow earlier boarding outside of appt time. (We'd received multiple emails the days prior requesting we adhere to our scheduled appt times!)

Was told 1400 originally booked, but only 1018 onboard. 500+ Crown & Anchor members but don't recall each category, except 130+ Diamond+ and 13 Pinnacles.

Very friendly and helpful crew, no crowds. Windjammer food is just ok - did light lunch there yes'day and today, closed last night (NYE) for dinner. Dinner in Main DR was good, fast service and food was hot.  NYE colorful party hats, beads & noisemakers on each table.

Lots of NYE activities scheduled, but no balloon drop. Plenty of music in multiple venues and also  a few "quiet" areas.

Due to low capacity it appears there's only one rep in the Next Cruise office this week.

The Captain is Daniel Budzelewski from Poland and the CD is Bobby Broughton from Dallas.

Wifi is great. We'll arrive in Port Canaveral tomorrow morning.

We booked this ship for several personal reasons: 35 minute driving distance to the port; to use multiple FCC balances and to celebrate NYE with friends we usually have a house party with. This is our 1st NYE cruise. That said, probably prefer celebrating on the Oasis & Quantum classes, even if we had to pay more for certain special activities. And definitely prefer the cruise not starting on NYE!  Was surprised RC didn't schedule this sailing for Dec 30th as some of its sailings in the past have begun on a Thursday and Carnival departs from Baltimore on Sun-Sun.

    Hopes this info helps!

Very helpful. Thank you! Will windjammer be open for dinner from now on?  Have a great cruise 😁

  7. I am still on the fence about cancelling our Jan 8 Enchantment cruise for this very reason.

A few days ago, the app showed windjammer open for breakfast and lunch only.

We just got off the Allure, where there are many dining options for evening, yet the dining room was table  to table,  long lines, chaos and the food has really gone downhill IMHO

I can only  imagine the chaos and close contact on the Enchantment if the windjammer isn't available and everyone has to go to the dining room for dinner since there are no other options except Chops

I just noticed today that the app is showing Windjammer for dinner. So who knows what will be the situation after we board???

Thankful for the "cruise with confidence"
