We are Diamond Plus on RCCL. We are looking at a Celebrity Cruise. I know our "points" don't accumulate, but I was wondering what type of perks we can expect and will we be able to use our balcony discount? Thanks everyone!

On a Princess cruise we had the Worst Steward Afloat. Left autograts in place but wrote a scathing letter. Pulling the tips can make you look cheap. A letter follows them around, effecting their next contract, postings, time off etc.

Pulling tips might make you look cheap. However, IMHO, that " scathing" letter you wrote DEFINITELY makes you look like someone who enjoys complaining to get attention and get someone in trouble. We have cruised many many times and I have had a lot of wonderful service on board ships. I have also had some trips with lousy service. I have found that if I am unhappy with something, the best way to address it is to speak directly to the person in a nice way. Has always worked for me.

Obviously you have no idea how overworked and underpaid these crew members are. Perhaps your room steward received bad news from home that week or something else personal was going on. Please rethink your remedy next time you cruise. Your " scathing" letter most surely impacted that crew member's livelihood.

I have several gift cards I would like to use toward "on-board expenses" What is the best way to put them on my account? Call ahead of the cruise or wait until on board and take them to guest services?

We have used Cosol tours several times. Always had a wonderful time with so many things to do and good food to sample. The tour guides were wonderful and great fun!!

Haven't been on an older carnival ship for many years. Going on a quick getaway aboard the Sensation. Are there hair dryers in cabins and how about a laundry room with an iron I can use? Thanks CC you guys always have all the answers. :)

We were on the same cruise and loved every minute of it. Since you are giving helpful tips I'd like to add one: if you make a reservation for Northstar and are a no-show they will charge you $25 on your seapass card. I did not see that mentioned in the compass (perhaps I missed it) but we had to cancel a reservation because of a delay with the doors not operating properly and the girl told us she would mark it down that we were there so we would not get charged.

I noticed on my cruise planner that you can purchase the internet package on line and "save up to 30% off" (Ibelieve it said $9.09 per day for one device) My question: I am diamond plus and can use my "free internet minutes " toward a package. If I purchase before boarding is there a way they will credit those minutes onto the package? Or should I just wait and do it once on board?

Currently on Carnival Sunshine and stopped in Grenada today. I have to give such praise to A&E tours. Their tour was very very nice stopping many places of interest. Both the driver and guide were very knowledgable and well -spoken. Their van was like new, very clean and comfortable with air. They served us rum punch

at the end. I highly recommend this tour! Very very reasonable priced too! Can't say enough about them.

We actually "packed for a purpose" and had school supplies to deliver also. So I arranged with "carson tour and taxi" to pick us up and spend the day with us, so he took us and waited for us. It is a nice scenic ride to the airport. We paid $160 for 4 adults.

FYI: concorde experience is nice but on their website, they say "flight simulator". they told us they no longer have that available. :(

We were in Barbados last week on Saturday. We took a cab to the concorde experience.

Was a nice exhibit and tour. The tickets you get look just like boarding passes. You can take alot of pictures also.
