  1. Thank you everyone for the quick replies. We are cruising from the US (Fort Lauderdale) so the US requirements will apply to us. I will be monitoring princess regularly for updates if anything changes. Hopefully we will have another booster before travelling, but it is good to know that based on the rules today we should be okay.
  2. I know the rules may (probably will) change before our cruise in November but would like to understand if we may have a problem based on the rules today. My DH and I are fully vaccinated, and each have had 1 booster. This is completely up to date from a UK perspective, and we cannot get another booster until they this autumn. Our boosters were in December 2021. By the time we get to our cruise in November, out booster will be well over 270 days old. We are hoping to get another booster in October, but the UK plans for boosters is not confirmed so we may not be able to get one before we need to travel. Based on my interpretation of the Princess rules we are okay since we have a booster even though it was over 270 days ago. Am I interpreting this correctly or does the booster need to be within 270 days?
  3. We booked our first night at crown grill for our November cruise and did not pay. It recognised we are in a suite.
  4. I requested shareholder OBC this morning and received it this afternoon. It was through the UK office for a trip in November from Fort Lauderdale trip. Based on comments here I was shocked it was same day service!
  5. We are on the 12 November cruise and it has been "Not Available" for a couple of weeks. About a week ago a few inside cabins were available for a day but then they were gone. Final payment is due in just over a week, so there may be cabins available then.
  6. My DH is quite ill when he has butter or cream. He can handle small amounts of hard cheeses, but butter and cream really set off his lactose intolerance. It is a shame since he love croissants, but they are made with butter.
  7. Is Sabatini's open on disembarkation day? We have only splurged once on a full suite and it was closed on Disembarkation day. We are treating ourselves on our next cruise and the breakfasts are one of the nicer perks. It would be great to have it before getting off in Fort Lauderdale. We had also noticed only 1 or 2 other tables were filled most days when we were there. The staff did indicate that most people do not take advantage of this option.
  8. We have been able to book an ocean cabana at Amber cove. We see there is a bar just at the end of the pier, but were wondering if there are servers that will come and take our order in the cabana?
  9. Thank you everyone. I did some digging and found it. It was not in my cart or in the excursion area. When I went into the Payments section it showed an outstanding balance for excursions. Very frustrating since no email was received and I know there is a time limit to pay. Very happy I went in to look today (I do not check every day). But we are now booked for an Ocean Cabana at Amber Cove!!!!
  10. Thank you. Do you know how would I know this. I cannot see an email or anything in cruise personaliser asking me to pay.
  11. I was waitlisted for an excursion. I just checked today and the waitlist was removed from my personaliser, but there are now 2 available. When I try to book it, I receive "Guests with a schedule conflict". We do not have any other excursion booked for that port. We were waiting to see if we would get lucky once final payments are due in 2 weeks and excursions are cancelled as people drop off. Has anyone had this problem? Can you call princess to book an excursion or is the only option online?
  12. If you are in a full suite (not min-suite), the sabitini’s breakfast is wonderful. Our choice every morning when timings work out (no early excursion).
  13. Does anyone know which email address I should use? We are the UK and book through princess UK, but are travelling from Fort Lauderdale? Does it make any difference if I email US or UK or would either work?
  14. If you have to quarantine, are you put into the same type of room you booked (balcony to balcony and mini suite to mini suite) or are they all the same type of room regardless of your original booking?

  16. Thank you. An occasional smell of smoke is not a big problem, but we want to spend time in our cabin enjoying the balcony - particularly on sea days and in the evenings. We both have asthma and strong cigarette smoke can trigger bad reactions in both of us so we try to be very careful.
  17. Does anyone have any experience on Sky Princess and if smoking is aft promenade? We are in a aft corner suite on Dolphin in November so am a bit worried.
  18. We upgraded from plus to premium for our 12 November cruise and was charged only £20 per day. We booked directly so I called princess to upgrade.
