Still no one who has gone to the Fun Shop after 7PM on the last night of the first leg of a B2B and purchased a bottle or 2 and been allowed to take them back to their cabin.
Still no one?

DocF,what beach do you recommend in Grand Turk? We leave in about 19 days and one of the stops is Grand Turk, and we can't decide what to do while there.
By the way, very cute furbaby!!
Free beach just at the pier, Go left and walk up to Jack's Shack. Inexpensive prices on drinks but there are no chairs or loungers available up there although they do have a nice patio.

I am curious also but unfortunately my next cruise is not untill next Jan.:(
Same for us. Are you doing a B2B also? (actually I now see that you are)

Anyone, recently?

We also do not put cameras into the safe. For us they hold passports and cash, that's it.
Same for us. Camera bag just placed on the couch and have never had a problem.

Bump, again.

I am leaving on the Conquest 9/13 for my B2B, returning 9/26. I will be glad to report back also.
Sandy
Thanks, we are also cruising the Conquest but not till Jan 2016. Will be looking for your report. Enjoy your cruise.

For the 2 of us it usually runs from $600-$1200 depending on the length of the cruise Seldom do we book excursions on board but we do drink and visit the casino a few times. Also a few photo's and purchases from the Fun Shops including a bottle or 2 from room service.

In the Steakhouse restaurant, do they offer complimentary cappuccino / espresso or do they charge for this like in the main dining room?
It's a charge.

Also know that TSA/Security at this airport is very slow with all the ships that use this port.
-
Turn it in and get it back on the last morning.
-
In my opinion well worth the price. Yes the quality and experience is better then mdr.

Agree 100%. We've done Nick and Nora's on all our Miracle cruises.

Just wanted to bump this thread up, in case someone who's come off a b2b in july has anything they would like to share about their experience regarding when they got their purchased liquor. TIA:)
Thanks for the bump!

My first cruise was the second week of January and I will sail that time of year from here on out.
1. It is great to leave freezing temps for the tropics.
2. I remember a few children on my cruise, but not enough to have affected my vacation in any way.
3. Most importantly, after the stress of the holiday season, it feels like the perfect time to get away and relax.
4. When I priced my next cruise, it was cheaper than other times of the year.
Agree with all of this. Our preferred time to cruise is first few weeks of January.

No, have not cruised since the new policy came into effect.
Even before this new policy, some ships had b2b flagged. Since Carnival is tightening the loopholes, am assuming this is one they will apply on all ships.
You may go on a ship that does not flag b2b but just pointing out that it is a possibility.
Thanks for the info. Hope the Conquest does not flag B2B's.
-
What ports?
-
Not if they have you flagged as b2b. If they have you flagged as b2b, you will be given your bottle(s) on the last morning of your 2nd cruise.
Is this what happened to you?
-
If you are doing a b2b on the same ship you will be Platinum for both legs, enjoy!
Good to know as that is our situation on our Jan 2016 Conquest B2B.

I think you missed the point earlier. There is no same night pick up with the new policy. I tried it last week on Valor, and was told to pick it up the next morning in one of the aft lounges. I didn't try winking, but I really doubt that it would have helped!
Thank you, was just the info I was looking for. Guess we will have to pick it up at debarkation in the lounge and take it to our cabin before we do the debark? Then embark for the 2nd leg.
Buying bottles on 1st leg of a B2B???
