X changed the day we will be in a port. We were meeting friends from another ship on that day. Do I have any options without having to pay the $200. to change? They are the ones who changed the itinerary.

We originally sailed on her in 2011. We were on her last month. I think they did a great job on the public restrooms, the Retreat Lounge is also very nice. They are starting to pick up some ideas from MSC because they now have a food map in OVC and a special luggage drop-off for Retreat guests. The MDR has a new carpet and chairs that are lovely. The cabins have had a refresh too. The bathroom has plenty of storage and the decor is lovely. Overall, the Millie is looking good! Of course, if you look for a bit of rust, you will always find what you are looking for.

I believe people are referring to the port right across from the Casino and CVS. This port is in the middle of nowhere. You can't walk to anything.

I have to say I was shocked the first time we were in Europe at a castle and they did not have the usual fencing. Gosh, you mean people are actually supposed to use their heads? I am still trying to figure out how I am still alive since I rode a bike for years without a helmet and drank water out of a hose.

I see in the video that they did not have a safety railing to ruin the view and keep stupid people safe. X should do something about that! I mean, at least a 6 ft fence! No, make it 10' so no one can climb over, oh, and don't have any kind of ledge where someone could sit and fall off. I can't believe X would take you to these 3rd world counties where someone could get hurt!

I really wish someone from X would chime in here. At least to say they are taking our concerns under consideration. I bet if they start checking signatures, they will see a lot fewer Celebrity bookings than they used to. I know I don't have one right now and that hasn't happened since 2011. But I guess that is just us. I am sure there is a segment of the universe that doesn't even know Cruise Critic exists and they are under the assumption that their next X cruise will be as good as their last. Boy are they in for a rude awakening.

I love the Edge class public spaces and the Retreat Space, but I am NOT in favor of the IV. I think it was a HUGE gamble ordering 5 ships with something the public might not take to. I haven't heard as much negative as I used to, but I certainly am not hearing "I wouldn't want to sail in any other type of stateroom" either. With the pandemic, you think they would have pulled the plug on at least the Ascent and the 5th one until they found out the reaction to Edge, Apex, and Beyond. And now a 5th when they are bleeding cash? That does not sound like a good business practice to me. I am sure there would have been penalties, but they wouldn't have been in the billions.
