  1. your post would have been interesting if you’d have included some evidence like even the post you’re referencing. I can at least confirm that its NCL’s policy to manage cancellations and deviations for you when you use their Air Sea program up to 72 hours in advance. After that they ask that you communicate with the airline and then call their flight assistance hotline. https://www.ncl.com/freestyle-cruise/airsea
  2. I did Princess' British Isles. One of the best cruises I've ever done. (mic drop)
  3. Unreliable airlines is precisely why you WOULD let your cruiseline handle it. If something happens, they fix it.
  4. lol "Drunks" is not the mark of a bad cruise line. It's the mark of a bad drunk. You can find them just about anywhere. On ANY luxury cruise liner.
  5. It isn't "luck" that you get your money back when a cruise line welches on an agreement, whether it was out of their hands or not. It's just good American business. You don't get to take people's money and then not do what you said you were going to do. It's not a crime, it's not even the biggest deal in the world. But I sure as hell ain't "lucky" that they decided to give me my money back after they blew my itinerary all to heck.
  6. Just because they can doesn’t mean they should. If they underestimated how long she’d be in drydock, there were other courses of action they could have taken besides turning it into a garbage cruise.
  7. Canceled. Princess says we should see a full refund in 10 to 15 days. So I’ve already put a deposit on an NCL Canary Islands, basically the same itinerary. Only two differences are its in December (which isn’t ideal), but its 13 days instead of 12 and theres also a stop in Gibralter. Plus right now NCL is throwing in the wifi, premium drinks, flight for the second passenger free and free excursions. You screwed yourself with this one Princess. What you should have done was just move the whole itinerary ahead two days to account for your drydock miscalculation instead of turning it into a crappy cruise with a poop-ton of sea days. Stupid.
  8. We're going to cancel. I just called and she said we have until August 19th to decide whether to cancel for a full refund, or transfer to another itinerary and still get the $100 pp offered in the amendment.
  9. Curious as to what it turned out to be for you on this cruise. Sabatini's? No Sabataini's?
