Were you automatically sent tickets after final payment?

I just read "Beyond Live(ish) B2B, Barcelona-Rome and Rome to Barcelona September 24 and October 3, 2022" where the OP advised " After reading several horror stories on Cruise Critic about FBC not ticketing flights even after final payment, I called them in April and asked for our electronic ticket numbers. And surprise, they had not been ticketed. According to the agent, you have to REQUEST for your tickets to be ticketed…even if paid in full. This makes no sense to me since Celebrity has all of the ticket money". I have never used FBC and have future flights. What are the normal steps to take after final payment to get your tickets? I have confirmation numbers and seat assignments on all of my flights. Thank you

On RCCL in May 2010, we were returning to the Villefranche port after experiencing torrential rain in Eze. Much to our surprise…the ship was gone! The waters were too choppy for the tenders & were unable to hoist some leaving them dragging when it sailed to the hard dock in Toulon. Over 500 crew & passengers were left in port while RCCL hired buses from Italy to transfer us to Toulon. Local Villefranche drivers were unable to bus us since they had driven their time limit. After waiting hours for the Italian buses to arrive, we made it to Toulon at 3AM causing us to arrive late into Livorno & the cancellation of the longer tours like Florence…fortunately we were going to Lucca which was close by. The storm was so bad that it was declared a disaster since much of the Villefranche boat docks & many yachts sank. Oh…memories! We always think of it when we port in the French Riviera.

We love the Tea Forte Bombay Chai pyramids so much after sailing on X and having it in Michael's Club that we purchase it directly from Tea Forte's website; however, they have been out of stock since at least Oct 2021. Do they have it currently in Cafe al Bacio? We look forward to it on our upcoming cruise. Thanks for your info!

Did anyone swim...you'd have to be prepared to have dry clothes to continue touring? Did you take a tour in Naples?

We're booked on the same "Beautiful Taormina by Land and Sea" on our upcoming May cruise and overlooked there is a 30 minute swimming option. When the water was too rough in the grotto, did the boat still linger in the area or continue to sail on?

In the past, our Retreat Host offered priority tendering and escorted Suite passengers to the tender line for express departure. The X website it states for Suites: Priority check-in, departure, and port tendering/boarding

We download a lot, but there are some shows that are current so we like to stream.

Thanks for all of the info! I'm making a document with all of your tips! DH willing sails on long cruises, but has to have his TV shows. After almost 50 cruises, we're no longer interested in the evening shows, ship tv has gone downhill and wanting to rest up for the following day's longer tours while in Europe...we just want to kick back at night, read the paper on our iPads and watch a little TV. I feel pretty confident I'm set!

I am using an iPad, Apple Lightning to Digital AV Adapter, an HDMI cord and a Samsung remote to stream Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Food Network via their downloaded apps. I plan to sign up for Express VPN for a month, download Express app prior to leaving and practice at home. On the ship, connect to the wi-fi, open VPN app and then click on Netflix app. Am I missing anything? Also, thank you for posting the router on your Greenland thread - I was looking at the same one.

Jim - does having a travel wireless router like you reported having actually help? I know you said you used it since you were using multiple devices. Being in a suite, we'll have the 2 free premium wi-fi packages.

You would need premium stream - not surf.

terrydx - I was going to say the same thing as I wondered if they had a move-up offer! After reading that she paid for a wi-fi upgrade, I looked at all of my X cruises and 3 invoices reflected surf. I've only sailed in a suite on X and took for granted that the wi-fi was premium. My TA reconfirmed my wi-fi and corrected my invoices. I wondered if X was lowering the suite perks...fortunately not!

What internet did you upgrade to when Sky Suites come with Premium Streaming Wi-Fi?

Thank you for responding. Is there a particular travel router you would recommend? I looked at Amazon and there are a lot to choose from. Are they difficult to hook up?
