    Windjammer wasn't much better on the Explorer last week. We didn't starve but several nights of fried fish and or spaghetti. We have b2b on her coming up so maybe we should also check out the UDP prices and follow your lead. 😉

    As long as I put my cash tip on bar in plain sight when ordering at the bars on the Explorer last week, I never received a receipt to sign.

    Not according to cabin attendants we asked. We give them the choice of what leave. Some want Coke only, others ask for a mixture. They tell us wine/beer can be taken to the crew bar to share.

    If you are using a TA this can be done ahead of time. They will contact the folks in the middle cabin and ask if they mind moving one cabin over. Our TA has done it successfully when we cruised with kids and grands.

    I think it is Windjammer in general. Fewer choices, fewer quality choices (meatloaf vs roast beef carving), etc. Even desserts were ho hum on Explorer last week. Cost cutting overall.

    Inside cabins are wonderful if you sleep in some days.

    Last week on Explorer had to chuckle at all the folks shlepping water, Sprite, iced tea, and such. It's amazing folks can't be satisfied with what the ship offers for a week. We carry a tiny Eddie Bauer folding bag (fits in pocket) to dinner then get any free drinks we have left as bottles of water for next day. Last week we left 26 drinks + a bottle of wine for our cabin steward.)

    Its just like the post-cruise survey. Nothing changes... they do what they want no matter the input. Save your time.

    You are picking your cabin and refusing your guarantee for which you paid. Leave all the other choices to those who paid to pick their cabin. IMHO
