I'm a little confused here, didn't you show them repairing some areas inside the house all ready? Aren't they worried now with the roof off incase of inclement weather or did they do the whole trusses and roof all ready back on? Going to look like the house next to us that they are building now, lot's of trusses and wood 2x4's

I'm guessing it's going to a very longggggggggg time before anyone ever sees that again.

Never liked those boats, top heavy not enough of the boat in the water.

Ship in this picture is going West bound through the first lock(Gatun) Look at the level of the lake, When @orville99 comes back later in 2 weeks (27th) he will be going down the steps and end up where it says Ocean in the picture. After the 3rd lock, you can see the level of the Ocean compared to the level of the Gatun Lake. It's amazing to see in real life. . The black ship on the right orange/red containers is coming from the Gatun Lake and is is so much higher. Ocean churned up water on the left is where you will end up in the ocean. If you ever get a chance of doing the full transit from west to east. After going through the last lock when you are dumped into the Atlantic Ocean. The place to be is on the extreme aft facing the wake which ever deck you can get on which ever ship you are on. The level of the water behind you is higher then the ship, it's a amazing sight we will never forget. @orville99 You will want to be back there for sure on your return trip back through the last lock in a couple weeks.

That kind of sucks, we had booked a Panama Canal Cruise this past October, but switched to a Greenland Cruise (September). Sure glad we did now because we surely would have been disappointed going through the old locks again since we had done that route before. Was hoping it was going through the new locks when we originally booked it.

Not the case on Jewel in September on Jewel., Diamond Plus also got paper receipts at Lobby Bar,Schooner Bar,Safari Club,Pool Bar,Bar in the Solarium, MDR and Theater . Guess some ship have better counting system on alcohol usage.

Ocean Boy will have that fixed long before the 27th. House Call is going to cost you though since you are like 5000 miles away.

Not the norm for sure. Equipment issue.

I don't think it's a normal tipping thread, it's just the Bartenders should all be doing the proper thing when charging a drink. I'm pretty sure a 100% Royal's management is telling all their Bartenders to print our receipts for ever customer.

So then when he brings the drink to you and doesn't have the paper receipt you have to have him go back to the register and then print it out after he has all ready been to the register once we he rung up your drink. Wasted time on his part and from getting other passengers their drinks faster.....Just seems like a wasted step. 1. Ring up drink, print receipt, give to customer with their drink.
