  1. Pictures from the Iron Heart Winery we visited this afternoon. If you look real close at this picture, in the dead center of it is a huge beehive hanging under the vines.
  2. Eguinox size is fine for us since we like Radiance Class and Voyager Class best, we don't need a ship with a ton of passengers onboard or one that has a amusement park on it. Plus the Itinerary on Equinox matches up well with the Jewel of the Seas from Amsterdam we have booked before the Equinox cruise. After the Jewel Cruise we flying from Amsterdam to Barcelona, with a free day in Barcelona before we board Equinox the next morning, then when Equinox ends in Rome, we will spend 2 or 3 days in Rome before flying home. We can use Celebrity's transportation to get us back into the city(Rome) after the cruise
  3. Our cruise we have booked on Celebrity comes with free internet, and free gratuities and free drink package. Granted you pay a little extra for booking that way but really it's reasonable considering what Royal Charges. For our cruise in June, we are paying $2232 per person Category V1 Prime Veranda(Total for Cabin $4464..also comes with $600 OBC from our travel agent.
  4. They do, just use another fish in the sea.......look at other cruiselines. For instance the one I showed you above. Don't be locked into Royal.
  5. I think they need to find a way to build a floating walk way from PC to Coco Cay? Would save a lot of fuel and could be very cost effective. 🙂 Who needs to bother getting on and off the ship 2 times in 3 or 4 days for boarding. Takes to much time wasted when they could be making money with people on Coco Cay longer.
  6. We liked the booths along the front window. Looking across Rt 206 toward the Wawa across the street. We have never sat at the counter, though many do.
  7. Sounds like some relaxing times, our plans today is to visit this winery. It's about 12 miles from our house. https://iheartvirginiawine.com/#farm-winery It's a beautiful day here after all the rain we have had here the last 7 days. A high of 80 degrees this afternoon. https://iheartvirginiawine.com/
  8. They changed the entrance used to look like this 2 and 1/2 years ago. Also the sign used to look like this and there was no flag there. We will be driving by there on our way home from the cruise the end of September. Not sure we will have time to stop in there or not. Our schedule is pretty tight trying to see as many old friends and family as possible before driving back to Virginia.
  9. Book a cruise like this on Celebrity Equinox and do a pre and post cruise stay at both cities. We are doing this itinerary in June 2024 Day 1: Barcelona - Spain Thu Jul 11 2024 | Depart 05:00 PM Day 2: At Sea Fri Jul 12 2024 | Day 3: Florence/Pisa(Laspezia)Italy Sat Jul 13 2024 | Arrive 07:00 AM Day 4: Florence/Pisa(Laspezia)Italy Sun Jul 14 2024 | Depart 06:00 PM Day 5: Santa Margherita - Italy Mon Jul 15 2024 | 08:00 AM To 06:00 PM Day 6: Nice (Villefranche) - France Tue Jul 16 2024 | 08:00 AM To 07:00 PM Day 7: Provence(Marseille) - France Wed Jul 17 2024 | 07:00 AM To 06:00 PM Day 8: At Sea Thu Jul 18 2024 | Day 9: Naples - Italy Fri Jul 19 2024 | 07:00 AM To 06:00 PM Day 10: Rome (Civitavecchia) - Italy Sat Jul 20 2024 | Arrive 06:00 AM
  10. Yes, Time I just got on Jewel was 10am.
  11. The fridge we have downstairs is a side by side, the Icemaker in that one probably takes up almost 1/4 of the freezer space. Makes about 10 to 15 lbs of ice. It's like having a bag of extra ice on hand all the time. 🙂
  12. https://www.google.com/maps/@18.4226787,-64.6155302,598m/data=!3m1!1e3?entry=ttu Pier in Tortola, not long at all. https://www.google.com/maps/search/St+Croix,+St.+Croix,+USVI+cruise+ship++pier/@17.7137874,-64.8875476,1039m/data=!3m1!1e3?entry=ttu St.Croix, doesn't look to bad.
  13. Seems to be a hit or a miss on be allowed to take out to go containers on what you can't eat. Seems weird that all ships wouldn't allow you to take it with you rather then throw it away. This thread got me hungry think I'm going to go book it on our next cruise. Thanks
  14. When we did the remodel for the kitchen , we also got a Ge Profile: GE Profile™ Series ENERGY STAR® 27.7 Cu. Ft. Smart Fingerprint Resistant French-Door Refrigerator with Keurig® K-Cup® Brewing System It's great for just the 2 of us, have had no problems with it, in less when we have company we have to bring up ice from the downstairs refrigerator since the new one just can't make enough ice quick enough. The holding bucket just isn't that large, for our model their was no option for a second ice maker. Not a big deal. Our's does make Coffee with the K-cup machine in the outside door where you get ice and water, t which is nice. So far that is still working perfectly. Home Depot salesmen did say" Whatever you get just stay away from Samsung Refrigerators, lot's of problems, you don't want one of those."
  15. 9260 is available now if you wanted the center cabin, next's to yours to switch to on Greenland cruise. Balcony is a tad deeper.
  16. Thanks, My Wife and I love the fireplace now. Such a huge change. My Wife is only 5ft tall, so the placement of the Microwave was a big deal. My Wife always had trouble using the microwave we had overtop our old electric range. So by putting the Microwave/oven where we did allowed us to put it in a lower position. This microwave also opens from the top down and not left to right like most over the top range type microwaves do. So it was important to get it in the right height so she can use it. It's perfect now, in the drawer below the microwave we keep hot plates, so they are in a handy position. My Wife picked out the vent cover on Esty, looks much better then the original metal one. Our contractor paint matched it to the cabinet color and put 2 hinges on it so I can just open it like a door and change the filter inside. Very Easy! https://www.etsy.com/listing/1153157473/return-grill-cover-air-supply-cover?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=829911177+return+grill+return&ref=sr_gallery-1-7&frs=1&cns=1&organic_search_click=1 My Wife and both love cooking so this kitchen gives us plenty of room to both work in it at the same time. .I told her we can't keep worrying about getting it dirty so we just clean up messes as we go. So far that hasn't been an issue keeping it clean. Finding the brick floor is also very forgiving too, once a week I get out the vacuum cleaner with a hose and brush on the end of it and vacuum up any crumbs, etc.
  17. Thanks, it was very time consuming process. Lot's of worrying will we get the exact look we were looking for or not. Are all the colors right? etc. Really it's a total transformation of the area. It's a whole different vibe when walking through the front door now. We think very much updated now with the look compared to how it was somewhat outdated before. That huge wall between kitchen and living room area, just had to go. 🙂
