  1. Shoreexcursionsgroup gives good info on what is available for any cruise
  2. I will keep checking but you make a good point.
  3. Today I found a lot of cruises offered by RCI through myvegas apps! Maybe MSC will be next!!! It has been awhile.
  4. 4 of us want to book a 2 bed haven family villa. Very nervous! 1. Does it matter what order the names are booked in? For example first 2 pay full price but what if one cant make it? We would originally be splitting cost 4 ways so would we just split cost 3 ways. 2. Do we have to book transfers if we book ncl flights? Very overpriced. 3. We will all be paying gratuties for free at sea on the drink and dining but do we only get one $50 cruise excursion credit per cabin? How about wifi do we each get wifi? Confused on that. Any helpful hints or advice appreciated. Trying to figure out how to get obc as booking with NCL you don't get any.
  5. My brother and wife are going to be doing their first MSC cruise. I want them to join the voyager club. They want to book the higher priced suite with the Aurea experience. Would they be able to get 5% off on the first cruise or is it only after the first cruise? Also I will be on the same cruise with a friend but we won’t be Aurea. Can they eat with us in the main restaurant? Or do they have to eat only in the special section for them? If so can we join them there if we are not Aurea which I doubt. We just want to eat together. Any thoughts?
  6. “Book any stateroom on any Norwegian Prima sailing through October 31, 2022, and apply TWO CruiseNext, CruiseNext Haven, or CruiseNext Lite deposits” Does this mean the sailing has to be completed by October 31 or does it mean it has to be booked by October 31?
  7. Who doesn’t love Tiptoe Through The Tulips? RIP Tiny Tim. 🎶
  8. Sammee are you saying you won’t get your deposit back or you won’t get your 30% discount back? I assumed I lost my 400,000 points canceling the cruise using my Vegas points because it’s my understanding once you cancel a cruise with MSC you don’t get them back. I just want my deposit back I’m not worried about the points. I was assured I would get my deposit back but I’ll read over the documentation.
  9. Thank you. I was really stressed about this and took your advice and called for the third time and finally the rep emailed me the confirmation.
  10. I came back from my September 3 cruise on the seashore with Covid. Not saying I got it on the ship but I did take the test two days before the cruise and it was negative. Lots of people on the FB group for that cruise also said they had it. I decided to cancel my booked January cruise and take a break from cruising for a while. I called and canceled and was told I would receive a email confirmation that it was canceled. I never got it. This was yesterday. Today I still don’t have it. When I called again yesterday they said it takes a “few seconds” I don’t know if they’re talking about me getting the invoice that shows the deposit and the balance due or a simple email of the fact that it’s canceled or what? I was told it would take one to 60 days to get my deposit back. My main concern of course is getting my deposit back and having proof I canceled in time. I did however check my account online and it showed the booking was no longer recognized. Should I be concerned or just let it ride? Thanks for any useful answers besides MSC customer service is horrendous. I’ve never had any problems to be truthful.

    Myvegas update!

The wording was confusing. I think their headquarters are in Fort Lauderdale. The sailings offered were out of Port Canaveral or Miami. I was fortunate to cash in a 30% off reward before August 31 for a January 2023 booking. I had posted earlier for people to be aware of the expiration of the cruise rewards offering those discounts.

    Myvegas update!

Yes but if you have a 30% off coupon from my rewards cash it in fast they have to be redeemed by August 31, 2022 but the cruise can be up to a year in advance. we just booked another cruise using the free drink package and Wi-Fi for an AUREA! That’s not till January 2023. Had to use my friend‘s 30% discount though since they wouldn’t allow me to use another one. Do a mock booking first so you’ll make sure you’re getting everything correct or at least know what to expect. You also get your 5% off if you’re a voyager member.
  13. A couple days ago I couldn’t print my eTicket using my laptop. I used the MCS for me app and got the option to download the PDF of your eTicket which I then printed. It’s not necessary to have uploaded a picture of yourself or your credit card information either.

    Myvegas update!

Several months ago I booked a MSC cruise using the myvegas MSC 30% off reward that required 200,000 points. MyVegas in the meantime added several MSC cruises either comped or 10% or 20% or 30% off. For those of you accumulating points specifically for a cruise I want you to know I tried using another 30% off discount reward and was not allowed. I was however able to redeem a 20% discount reward And for anyone that’s not aware the reward offers has to be redeemed by August 31, 2022! I’m not sure how far in advance you’re allowed to book a cruise.
  15. I’m doing my web check in and my country is listed as Italy instead of the United States. I really don’t want to call MSC. I know it wasn’t my mistake. It shows up in my account information too. It is not correcting when entering zip code. I can’t print my documents either 19 days to go. So do I have to call them to get them to fix it because I can’t at this and I’ve tried. Has anyone else had this problem? Always something.
  16. I really like your advice. Would you mind telling me which hotel you pick if you have a favorite one. To be truthful I have never used Uber or Lyft. I’ve always been kind of nervous about it. This would be a good time to test it out! I also like the SAS idea too.
  17. Thanks shipkeeks. I am sure others reading this forum will find this information very useful too. Appreciate it!
  18. We are flying into Fort Lauderdale FLL airport the night before Our MSC Seashore cruise and would really appreciate a hotel recommendation that offers a free shuttle from the airport. In addition could somebody please recommend a shuttle service that either picks up at the hotel and shuttles to the Miami cruise port or shuttles from FLL to the Miami port. Thanks
  19. I got the exact same offer after booking the 30% off my Vegas reward for the inside YC. I kind of wondered the same thing. Probably the best bet would be to call MSC and ask for the casino concierge and let us know the answer. I’m just guessing you would not get the 30% off the bid because it’s a separate company. But you could always upgrade to a YC balcony probably and you would definitely get the 30% off that price I bet. I keep checking the balconies to see if they’ve gone down in price but they haven’t for my cruise. A little too costly for me. Plus I don’t know what you lose if you do that for example I have $200 onboard credit etc.
  20. Good idea also to download Kindle books or Netflix TV programs/movies before younleave home if you want to relax and unwind with them when you’re not doing other stuff on the cruise!

    Myvegas update!

I booked the yacht club inside for the September 3 cruise on the seashore using the 30% off/100,000 value points. The good thing about the 30% off is you can basically pick your cruise. . The 30% off is taken off the cabin price but you still have to pay of course the difference and the port charges taxes and daily service charge. But when you consider you will have to pay the port charges and taxes and daily service charge for the comped cruises all you are getting is a free balcony Fantastica np perks. Of course this is a good deal but if you want to get a drink package and Wi-Fi it does add to the price. Bottom line I paid $1967 total for 2 for the YC inside and we know all the perks that includes. So it might be something to consider! I also got the $200 obc offered at that time and the $50 each obc per person, double points and the usual 5% off for voyagers. Might wanna do the math and see if you pay a little more if you get a lot a lot more and only have to use 100,000 points! I also posted this information on another thread sorry but I think its worth repeating.
  22. It includes the thermal spa which I personally love but you can get passes I think for around $130 for the whole week.
  23. I wonder if in some cases using the 30% offer with only 200,000 points may be better. It appears they always offer this. This way you get to pick the cruise you want if available of course. For example I chose the yacht club interior and the casino concierge guy worked with me and I got the current offer which included onboard credit and also the double points, $50 obc per person, and the 5% voyager discount. If you do a free cruise you get a balcony cabin which is wonderful but you still have to pay the price for the upgraded drink package and for Wi-Fi. Has anyone ever done the math if msc is offering their balcony/wifi offer? Plus you can upgrade. Also the next day after I booked I did get a offer to bid for a YC balcony cabin. Of course either way you still have to pay for port charges/taxes and dailt Service charge. I do check every day to see if any additional free cruises are being offered though.
