I have had the tower on Oasis and Odyssey. I remember loving them on one of the ships and them just being ok on the other. One was basically like the ones you can buy frozen at the grocery store and fry at home. The other tastes hand battered and fresh. My problem is that I cannot remember which was which! I think I have to go back through my previous live posts and figure it out. Not that they could not have changed them by now anyway...

Thanks for the tip. We did go to him when we were missing our D+ amenities a few times and by the time we got back to our cabin later that evening, the missing amenities were there. We never thought to go to them about the laundry charge but we definitely should have. He has been great. If we are hanging out outside, we normally stick to deck 16 of the solarium where they have the little couches so you do not get must of a cross breeze. I do not find the CP balcony any hotter than there but if it is a REALLY hot day and you are in port, I think it would be a scorcher.

When we got them they were cold. I asked the server if they were supposed to be and she said yes so we did not bother to send them back and just chalked it up to a $7.50 lesson learned. We have had them on Odyssey and Oasis before and I do not remember them being this blah. We have had them with the pulled pork as well as just preferred the plain too.

Captain just came over the speakers - there was a medical emergency over night and we had to divert to Port Everglades for the passenger to be disembarked. I was in bed by midnight so had not even noticed. The great news is that the passenger is now stable. Not so great news for those that had plans in Nassau is we will not be arriving today until 3:45PM and will be departing at 8:45PM. All shore excursions have been cancelled. There is no need for anyone to visit guest services and they will be automatically credited. I did not catch if it would be a refund to credit card or as OBC. It sucks for those that booked via a 3rd party, but I guess that it is the risk of doing so. Hopefully the passenger has a full recovery soon.

We went to Playmakers earlier and hummed and hawed whether to share a nacho or an onion ring. We chose nachos and were disappointed. They were cold and I could have made better for free at El Loco Fresh

So much for the LA telling me they would be running out of totes! It appears they might have gotten a new shipment. 🤣 We ended up with more being dropped off today. I think the total count is 17 - we brought two of them home on the first cruise filled with dirty laundry and left them at the house. Remind me to call C&A when I get home to change our amentity selection to something else. 😂😂😂

Day 3 Cruise Compass After a few hours, the washroom near casino finally opened. I assume the others did as well but did not check them. This is what was waiting for me in the 1st stall. Obviously they were having some plumbing issues and they forgot to put the plate back up…

Not sure what is going on but they seem to be having a major issue with the public washrooms tonight. The one by the Casino/MDR on Deck 4 has had a maintenance sign on it for over an hour. Finally gave up and walked to deck 5, same thing. Deck 6, same. I had to go all the way to my cabin to use the restroom!!

IMG_7179.MOV The Schooner performer for the first 3 cruisers was Ventzi from North Dakota. He was one of the best ones we have seen onboard. He left on Friday to head home. Day 2 Cruise Compass

Hmmm… We just won name that Tune: Songs with color in a full Schooner Bar and the prize was one thing of zipper pulls for our team of 2. They could have at least thrown a highlighter our way 😂

I am not sure if anyone else has noticed the seapass cards have been terrible recently. We had a cruise a few months ago where I had to get a new one everyday because the label kept peeling off. I have had to get a few replaced on these cruises because of that as well. They told me last week they were supposed to be getting a new key and it appears they have. The ones for this week have the strip on the back again. hopefully they hold up better? Last weeks seapass this weeks with the strip

Thank you for the warning! Maybe they were trying to punish me for being a squeaky wheel. I can, however, think of some folks I could use it for… 😂

Cabins were read about 30 minutes ago but they just made the announcement. I stupidly forgot to flip the Do not disturb sign so did not get the amenities in the cabin, but the docs were in the door. Hopefully I have Linton a bit of a break. These are the docs from the cabin. Diamond Plus info - laundry still says free bag for 5+ nights. Maybe they were confusing the 2 laundry coupons last week? I forgot to mention that turn over was much easier today. There were alot less people. We had to meet at 8AM in the theatre. We were running a little late and got a call at 8:08AM as we were heading out the door asking us to get to the theatre ASAP. By that time on the other sailings, we were still in a line outside the theatre. When we arrived the customs officer checked our passport, the RCL employee had us scan our old pass and then we went to the table to get our new ones. We sat down and a rep came around to check us in & ensure our credit card and photo were loaded. Then another rep came around and made sure our health questionaire was completed (they were). We were out of there by 9:15. It would have been alot earlier but we had to wait for 5 stragglers to get off the ship. I heard the call come in that disembarkation was complete and they immediately started letting us out. Paul and I were the 2nd & 3rd people out of the theatre. They did not seem to be having a recurrence of the card problem from last week so hopefully that means are seapass issues are behind us!

I guess we got lucky when we boarded on the 5th. We boarded at 10AM and there was no moving until sail away. I did not notice it on the 10th or 17th either.
