When we did last time it was March 2020 right before the poop hit the fan (3/1/20 sailing on Anthem). There was 5 of us. I booked a mini van for the day. I think it was through Budget. They had a shuttle and picked us all up at the port. At the return I dropped everyone off at the ship then returned the van and I think I took an Uber back because the location had already closed for the day.

Day 4 cruise Compass. We also got the Coco Cay info tonight which was a little weird as we don’t to there until Tuesday…

We have had one in our cabin every day and have not had to ask

sorry I should have been more clear. I was looking to check that our Club Royale casino pts had posted correctly, not our C&A pts. I find the casino points normally only take a few days to show up.

I am onboard Oasis now and trying to get to the clubroyaleoffers site to make sure our points from last week posted correctly. I cannot get into the site. Is anyone else having the issue or is it just the crappy onboard wifi? I can get to others sites

I am Canadian & have run a couple of pulls on RCL this year on Ovation & Oasis. We have had 60-80 people. $20 buy in. We did not hit any jackpots so cannot comment on that piece but my card has been in the machine so would not have had to pay taxes. On both ships the hosts said they were completely out of merch to offer. Sometimes I bring a couple little trinkets from home to offer the biggest hit as a prize.

We will be in Port Canaveral today. The gangway is supposed to be open from 1PM to 8:30PM. Our plan is to hang out in the solarium again today. We were thinking of taking an Uber or the bus to Bealls outlet because Paul’s sneakers have basically fallen at apart but I cannot seem to find a list of stores they have so I don’t think we will bother. We just did brunch at the Solarium bistro. They had the normal breakfast stuff (eggs, their weird bacon, beans, sausages, corn beef hash etc) as well as fried rice, roast chicken, turkey, mashed potatoes. Love the convenience of the bistro when we are already in the solarium and it never seems as hectic as the WJ. I will say the food everywhere has been 100% better than what we experienced on the Ovation last month!

It’s better to buy them at least a little in advance now because you have to make park reservations since covid. I would hate for you to try to buy them at the gate and then not be able to get in. I miss the days when DVC members used to get great discounts on annual passes.

These are the one day ticket prices for the next few months. This is in USD and are for 1 park only (no hopping). Pricing is from Disney site.

The few times we did it, we rented a car. Also we were only going to Disney Springs. I would not do a park because of the limited time in PC and the cost of a one day ticket. If still had an annual pass, it might change my opinion

Here are the Diamond + amenities we got this week for having over 340 pts. Champagne & Strawberries Three Tote Bags We got the champagne with berries and two totes last week. The loyalty ambassador told me they no longer have towels and won’t have any through the end of last year. She said she is also almost out of totes. I am bummed the 340 pt totes aren’t these ones. I love mine and it is starting to fall apart. I had gotten it on the Empress a few years ago as an apology from guest services do to some issues I had with a hat order on that sailing

It was very weird! My son was happy though because hubby did some meal prep and made him some chicken Parms as meal prep while we were home 😂

I am guessing he got moved to cruise jail that night. It was the last night of the cruise so he was getting booted the next morning either way.

Had this little cutie waiting for us in our cabin when we came back after dinner. Our steward Bayu has been great. I wish we could take him with us when we switch cabins next week!

Spend the entire day after the slot pull in the Solarium listening to my audio book. I may or not have dozed off at one point. It was glorious!! We did the windjammer for dinner again tonight. Fried chicken, beef brisket, creamed corn, a seafood cake and some pasta. What a view!

I have slot pulls organized for this week and next. Todays was at noon and we had 119 people sign up in advance. That is ALOT. Because of the number of people scheduled, we had already decided to use the two Wheel of Fortune machines by the bar if we had more than 65 people pay. I was kind of hoping not everyone would arrive as 119 might have been unmanageable 🙂 I set up shop in the bar area with my laptop and spreadsheet at 11AM and started Collecting $$. We ended up having 78 participants including me. The buy in was $20 so we each did 4 $5 spins each. Of course the machine my husband was manning was the one that hit the spin bonus 8 times. My machine did not get it once, but my machine did get the biggest win. In the end we ended up with a whopping $4 more than we started with. Everyone got their $20 back and the person with the biggest spin got the $4 extra. The $20 made it an easy payout. We did all our spins and everyone had their money back by 12:45. It was a great time. Unfortunately I was too busy to take pictures!!

I am sure we will be ion the same sailing again eventually 🙂
