I tried to reply to this post earlier but I am still having wifi issues. We are not breakfast people and have not been in the WJ for it. With that being said, based on a B2Ber that went off on the staff checking us in this morning on the B2B that felt the need to loudly and publicly air his various grievances for all that could hear, including the audacity of RCL not to have a live omelet station, I am guessing there is no station at this time 🙂

Sorry lets try that again. My data was not coorperating on my iphone. We have done several B2Bs since the restart but this is the first time we have seen the Consecutive Cruise lunch being offered. Here is the letter we received in our cabin. Lunch was offered from 12:00 - 1:30. Menu: We both had the scallops to start. I had the short rib. Paul had the Cajun chicken. It was actually the 1st time I have made it to a B2B lunch and it was a nice change.

We are now settled into the Solarium and checked in for cruise #2. We were supposed to meet in the Theatre for 8AM but they were late opening it up because they were waiting for a customs officer. I think we eventually entered the theater at around 8:30. The customs officer checked our passports as we entered. We then went to a table and provided our old cabin numbers and were given an envelope with our new keys and a number. This number dictated where you were to sit. They had us sitting in the theatre with a full empty row separating each group. Crew then made their way down the line making sure that our vaccines and photos were uploaded. If not, they registered them for us. We were out of there by 9:36AM. One thing I noticed on the last B2B we took is right before they start letting new guests on, a crew member comes over the intercom with some motivational messages and a breakdown of the passenger counts. It was a little hard to hear this time, but I think this is what she said: 5817 guests 53 Pinnacles 199 Diamond+ 400 Diamonds We met one of the lab techs/nurses that does the testing onboard the other night in the casino. She said they expect to have 700 kids onboard this week (6/10-6/17).

Holy crap! Currently sitting in the armchairs by the casino bar. A guest just went into the table pit to the right in the smoking section. Not sure what he was trying to accomplish but security and the casino crew tried to get him out and he started struggling and throwing punches. They took him to the ground in seconds. There is now a huge crowd watching. It’s been several minutes and he is still being held to the ground. Medical officers are here as well to monitor him. The crew is handling it very calmly. I see an RCL ban in someone’s future!!!

The view of our Condo building this morning from deck 16 of the ship. It is positively dwarfed by Oasis. “Hello from the other side”. The view from our dining room table of the Oasis.😂😂

We have been on a bunch of cruises since the restart and have never had to ask a robe once. I guess we are lucky and they are already in the cabin. The ones we got on Oasis this week are the best yet. Super soft and large enough to be comfy 🙂

This is where I have been working most of the time. Great spot right next to Park Cafe and has great wifi reception. We also have no issues in there getting our LTE/3G signal. Today we are working off our cellphone hotspot since we are in Canada and it has worked great. These outlets and USB ports are all around the room We are currently working up on Deck 16 in the Solarium. We love the seating seat in the little alcove beside the bar on Oasis class. We spent a lot of time in their area on Allure in November on our B3B.

We had a great dinner last night at Izumi. When I checked in I told them I prepurchased mine and said we were using one of our BOGOs for hubby. He said that was no problem and they seated us. Confusion reigned for a bit when the check came. They were first going to charge hubby $17.50. Then when we explained his should be free, not 50% off there was much discussion among the waiter and I assume the manager of Izumi. Eventually they said they would need to refund my pre purchase and charge us onboard for the BOGO which is what I was originally expecting anyway so that was fine. It looks like however they refunded my pre purchase as OBC but I think they only charged us $17.50 instead of the $35 we should have been charged. We both got the Prix Fixe option. It included Miso Soup, one small plate each, two large plates each and a dessert. They start off with edamame. I forgot to take pics of the starts but I got the fried rice and Paul got the Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna. For large plates we got: Izumi Ryu Futomaki Roll Baked Snow Crab & Salmon Dynamite Roll Yaki Udon with Chicken and Tonkotsu Ramen The only dish we were disappointed in was the ramen. It honestly did not taste like much of anything. We loved everything else. We did not opt for dessert. We are not really big dessert people and we had no room left anyway. All of the tables in both sushi side and the hibachi side were completely full. Service was slow and we were waiting quite awhile before we started getting our food but once it started coming, it was constant. I think we’re ended up being there for 2 hours.
