Offers received from Club Royale (Royal Caribbean)

I would agree mate. Royale is trying to get Australian market going. The offers may not last long. Use them while you can. -
Tell Me About NCL "Casinos At Sea"?
texasreb replied to need2cruisesoon's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
My post from yesterday did not post ? I don't recall all of it. We sail on Allure Mar 26. It is from a Royale casino offer. Balcony cabin with free drinks in casino. As for Caesars, etc. Eldorado has muchly ruined it. My wife and I have been Diam or Seven Star each every year since at least 2008. When El Dorado took over. They fired hosts, closed the lounges. Cut back comps. Even just plain axed players. I know many that have quit Caesars. I and another fellow I know were both shutoff from anything late July 2020. I mean even emails. I had just earned Diam Plus in that covid year. He was nearly Elite. After 18 months they finally sent offers and emails. Now shut off again. Well we shall see soon if Royale is still as good as it was. By that I mean April 1 starts a new year -

Yes on Galveston. SVB has been taken over by FDIC. Had another crypto firm go bust a few says ago. They blamed some of their failure on FTX Sam Bankman-Fried going bust. -

I did not know about a special. I did 5 day cruise and 775. Nothing but $$ off cert. My wife and I have have about 10 offers each. Nothing but $$ off. Will finish Prime later this month. Then see what happens in April. I think Royal has cut back just like the other cruiselines. We shall see soon. I guess you did read where NCL quarterly report had $48 million loss ? -

Weird stuff today. My tier points showed up in Club Royale a week after our early February cruise. The C&A still have not showed up. -

I usually just hang out at Casino bar. The last time I went into lounge. We stayed out on the patio. -

I am sure that is part of it Vera. We were getting decent offers right on up until they lifted the testing. Now for Diamond lounge access. Can a Diamond level bring in a guest ? -

The OFFERS sure have taken a nose dive. The last 3-4 have been only $100-$300 off. We are finally back to cruising. After 17 cancels and rebooks. Sailed on Liberty her last cruise from Galveston. -

Back before covid, and even into it. I would call in the evening to make sure I would get Oregon center. Now I never get them. I have tried both CR's numbers. Always get Manila going back to at least August. No matter morning or early evening. -

Called in to Casino Royale call center about 10 A.M. today. I got Manila again. Sure makes me wonder if ALL USA has been closed down ? -

Casino Royal call center. Is it only Manila now ? For past several months day or night. Every time I call I get Manila. In years past I used to get Miami, Oregon, Guatemala, and Jamaica. I live in Texas. Are they sending call according from where you call ? -

For the last 2 days I can not get the club Royale offers to come up. It seems it just times out. Anyone else having a problem ? -
Thanks for update. Sometimes we get free drinks from Carnival. We get free casino drinks with Royal because of play level. Most of our cruises have been with NCL, but not recently. Maybe it was that admin fee that stopped us.
-
I had this same problem on Carnival Glory Thanksgiving. No servers wanted to get the espresso 100 feet away. I did not have the coffee package.
-
15 minutes, boy I wish. My wife and I both had pitiful 1 hour waits at times on Carnival Glory. It just depended on which waiters were working.

Non-refundable OBC - what CAN'T it be used for?
texasreb replied to LadyBerard's topic in Holland America Line
On Carnival I could use the non-refundable OBC in the casino. -
We had offer from another casino. Free Cruise. When we phoned NCL. They wanted taxes and port fees. Yes that is standard. ALSO wanted $20 per person per day as admin fee. Carnival and Royal don't do that. I have not called back to see if I get a different reply.

Tell Me About NCL "Casinos At Sea"?
texasreb replied to need2cruisesoon's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
I phoned the other day to CAS. Wife has oceanview offer 7 day sailing. Pre-covid usually had balcony offer. Wanted $600 to upgrade, the admin fee $280, and the taxes port fees. Not even counting grats here and over $1200 for FREE cruise. Also would not let me add my inside offer to do the upgrade. We sail Carnival in a few weeks. Aft balcony costing $480 not including any grats.. Drinks in casino only, and $200 OBC and $100 FP each. Plus we used a $200 CC balance to knock down the billing. So going for under $300 -
Connoisseur is one reason why I and wife liked Liberty. A good place to hang out, and meet folks. The Cigar Lounge on NCL ships was a reason we liked them. I phoned in to CAS and had a "comp" coming. NCL has added an admin fee of $20 per day per person to do a "comp" cruise. Say what ? Nickel and Dime Del Rio

I like that Nickel and Dime Del Rio. LOL I am still kind of miffed over "Casino admin fee" for a comp cruise. That is another $280 tacked on for 1 week cruise. No such fee with Royal or Carnival. Over the years I have done more cruises with NCL than the others. I sure don't recall that high of a fee. 36 cruises in total. -
At night when ship is sailing, too darned windy ! Only 1 night out of 7 could I stand the wind last week. I read some reviews on Prima. They were some what lackluster. venues packed, and can't make reservations.
