  1. Unlike some of the other Silversea ships where about half of the Observation Lounge is a de facto “library” with bookshelves, what Lois is referring to is the library that is essentially “inside” the lounge. It is not well marked, but it is a separate room, accessed by a door in the middle of the lounge, with no windows but well-stocked bookshelves and comfortable chairs.
  2. Deck 9 is going to be hopping. We're there too.
  3. Nonsense to you perhaps, but not to all. And I thought you didn't have any Silversea onboard experience. To wit, your earlier statement: "🙋🏼‍♀️ only chose SSea for Summer 2024 due to the new ship, great cabin availability and itinerary (with perfect timing). Learned about the complexity of the dress code after the fact and it wasn’t a big enough deal to cancel."
  4. A step, perhaps, but a step in the wrong direction.
  5. You might be looking at a cruise that is a portion of a longer cruise also being sold and SS are interested in selling the suite for the longer cruise only. I have seen that with one of the new suite categories on the Nova.
  6. Sadly, we only had one cruise with Robin, but it was a mere 60 days ago as she was the expedition biologist on our Cloud Falklands/South Georgia/Antarctica cruise. She was an exceptional talent, and the brightest star among many on the expedition staff. Her joy and enthusiasm was contagious. May she rest in peace.
  7. Vinay does an excellent job. He was our butler on the Cloud's first swing through Antarctica this year, Falklands-South Georgia-Antarctica in November.
  8. I was asking the exact same question for our November trip. Here is the SS response to our TA, who is very tied in to SS: Guests have to follow the luggage restrictions. One 50 pound checked bag, one 17 pound carry on and a backpack or a purse.
