Hi all,
How’s the water temperature in late June in Mallorca? Seems it might be a litttle cold to do a beach day or am I wrong?
-
One other thing, I assume we tip for taxi? =)
-
Sounds like taxi is the best. And thanks for the info about mini cabs.. I would never have known to ask about them!
-
I would definitely go for taxi
tube with luggage is not fun even if says lifts are available and certainly to be avoided rush hour
Estimate on taxi cost?
-
Hotel is bought and paid for as are the tickets for Heathrow express. It was difficult finding one hotel room to accommodate two adults and one very tall 13-year-old. Trip is in June of this year.

Hello all,
So, I'm working out the logistics of getting around London for when we arrive and leave. We will be taking the Heathrow Express train to Paddington station and winding up at Park Plaza Hotel near the Waterloo station. Leaving London we are taking the Eurostar train to Paris out of the St. Pancras station. Suggestions on whether to taxi or tube along these routes? I'm all for public transportation, but I can't drag heavy luggage up and down stairs. I need an escalator or lift. On the flip side, I don't want to pay an arm and leg for a taxi. There will be 3 people in all traveling. Suggestions? Thanks!

Are there any beach clubs in Mallorca that are open to a 13 year old? I found one so far, but he has to be 16 to be in the pool (???). Thanks in advance!

Whether it is worth it depends on the deal from Barcelona Day Tours. From RCCL it was very convenient. Here is a link to some pictures.
Thanks, do you remember the approximate time of the tour through RCCL?

Anyone have more info on how a tour works AFTER cruise? I'm confused if the tours are small groups of people or private? I'm open to either, but not willing to pay tons more just for it to be a private tour. How long are the tours?
-
We did that tour on RCCL. It was great in that we were at Montserrat before the crowds and had the place almost to ourselves.
Hi! What were the approximate times you were in Montserrat with the tour through RCCL? I'm looking to possibly book it.

Hi all -
We have a cruise planned with Royal Caribbean that ends on June 24 in Barcelona. Our flight leaves at 6:30 pm. We are looking for a tour to fill our time after the cruise ends. We will be doing Barcelona proper ourselves before the cruise. I was looking at the Montserrat tour through RCCL. It's $70 a person for 4 hours with drop off at the airport (there's 3 of us). Is this a good deal or is there something better you might suggest? Basically, we don't want to drag our luggage around Barcelona and we can't be late for our flight home.
Thanks in advance!

Hi all -
I have my third cruise with Royal Caribbean booked for this June. I booked it through a travel agent and I am listed as the primary guest. So, what I don't understand is why is my husband getting all the emails pertaining to our upcoming cruise? I just happened to see one in his email box and I asked about it, he then forwarded to me the numerous emails about our cruise from Royal Caribbean. He had just been deleting the emails.

I figured it out that they no longer have this train soon after I posted. Oh well, it would have fit perfectly into our plans.
-
Is there still an overnight train from Paris to Barcelona? I see posts about it years ago, but can't find anything about it now.
-
... and the website is down now.
-
On the phone with Air2Sea now. You have to call them directly after you've booked one flight. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a website!

Hi all -
This afternoon I booked & paid for our flight to England for our eventual cruise out of Barcelona next June using Air2Sea online. So, tonight when I go to choose a flight from flying back from Barcelona, the webpage won't let me choose any guests to go to the next step of choosing a flight. All I get is a link to look at the reservation I've already made. Did I screw up some how?

Comparing apples and oranges here. You have to figure out what's important to you. We can't do that.
I've been on both ships, and I would sail both again. If have to choose one, I pick Breakaway - better entertainment and more things to do over all.
Which ship are you closer to?
Are you getting a "free" drink package with Breakaway or other perks? Does that matter to you?
Pride has a covered pool where Breakaway does not.
-
I sailed on Breakaway last year. I don't remember anything like the OP listed that made me not want to sail her again. Oh well, I'm cruising on Breakaway in 5 days. Cruises are what you make of them...

Was Ben Micheals performing at Howl at the Moon?

Sighs... Carnival has a bad reputation that it really doesn't deserve. Cruise with Carnival and make your own opinion.

Unless NCL is offering to buy you something with their logo, don't worry about it!

... and this is how rumors get started. NOT true.
