AmandaLMcL Posted January 10, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 10, 2018 Hard to tell on the deck plans and the actual space doesn't look that different, but is there really much of a difference between the balcony cabins and the mini suites?
PJ's Posted January 11, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 11, 2018 Which ship are you looking at? We were on Aurora before Christmas in a mini suite and it was excellent....plenty of room. We have also been in balcony cabins on other ships which were much smaller.
john watson Posted January 11, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 11, 2018 Mini-suites tend to give you a bedroom area and sitting area. The square footages are published on website. You get extras such as a bath with shower over instead of a cubicle shower. Travelling three or more in a cabin you all tend to sleep at ground level. wowzz Posted January 11, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 11, 2018 The ship is important. A balcony cabin, on Arcadia for example, is much bigger than a balcony cabin on Britannia, with a seating area, and a bath with a shower over.
