cruzyduzy Posted June 12, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 12, 2018 Does anyone have experience using Uber or Lyft for transport from the cruise terminal to a hotel near Times Square?
esm54687 Posted June 13, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 13, 2018 Lyfte approx $30 based on a 9 mile / 30 minute ride.... they do charge by the minute so anything above 30 minutes expect about $0.30 minute more and they charge by the mile so anything above 9 miles expect about $1.50 a mile more. Very easy to get and price is comparable to Uber / cab
Rare Got2Cruise Posted June 13, 2018 #3 Share Posted June 13, 2018 If Lyft charges by the minute you are better off using Uber then or a Car Service such as Dial7. NYC traffic is unpredictable and you’ll be penalized if there is some traffic jam. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
MarkBearSF Posted June 13, 2018 #4 Share Posted June 13, 2018 Also, don't forget to include bridge and tunnel tolls in the calculations.
cruzyduzy Posted June 13, 2018 Author #5 Share Posted June 13, 2018 Also, don't forget to include bridge and tunnel tolls in the calculations. What tolls or bridges would be involved in the trip from Brooklyn cruise terminal to Times Square?
138east Posted June 13, 2018 #6 Share Posted June 13, 2018 If there is a toll, it will be either $5.76 (ezpass rate) or $8.50.
