nini Posted August 30, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 30, 2017 We are cruising the PC from west to east in January 2018 (LA to Fort Lauderdale). Has anyone purchased wine in any of the ports to bring on ship? And if so, any recommendations? We will be on the Coral Princess Puerto Vallarta Huatulco San Juan del Sur Puntarenas Cartagena Aruba Thanks all! :D

Rare Keith1010 Posted September 3, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 3, 2017 Be sure to know the rules when it comes to what you can bring onto the ship. Most of these ports are really not good options for wine. Choice will be limited and cost more then at home. Some would be better known for other items such as Rum, Khalua (Mexico), Tequila (Mexico) but not really wine. Keith
nini Posted September 6, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted September 6, 2017 So true- I belong to a wine club who meets once a month and we choose a theme. We have never selected wine from Mexico or South America. I wish that the cruise line (Princess) would adjust the 1 bottle per person t bring on board when it is more than a 7 day cruise. Ours is 15 days.
