We are a group of 7 interested in getting to the Blue Lagoon in Reykjavik, Iceland, on June 2nd. We are coming in on the NCL Jade.

Anybody know a good way to get there that is:

1. Easier than walking into town to catch the bus.

2. Cheaper than the excursion from the trip.

We are also happy to share transportation if someone knows about a company that does so from the port.

Thanks

Walking into town makes little sense (it is a very long walk). You can certainly take taxis from the port, which is not cheap, but makes a lot more sense than walking all the way into town. Another option is to rent a car (in your case you would want a van) which you can during the day and also in the evening. Nothing is inexpensive in Iceland...so plan accordingly. Is the Blue Lagoon worth the price.....only you can make that decision. But it is one of the major "tourist places/traps" on the island.
